- This is a Direct-to-DVD movie that was meant to promote the Crazy Dog brand. There's virtually no clips of this online, or any information about it. This is a shitshow.
I vaguely remember seeing brief clips of this on Kabillion's website back in 2008(?) and only recently tried to piece together what it actually was. This comes from a "Crazy Pets Activity Disk", which proudly states that you could play this on your Xbox, PlayStation, AND Nintendo (even though no Nintendo consoles support CDs nor DVDs)!
I've wondered what the full version was like ever since I saw promos for it while watching Kabillion on demand as a child... Definitely one of those "so bad it's good" pieces. XD
I think this is the full flim
Came for your uploads of seasons 4 & 5 of Purno de Purno, stayed for whatever this is lmao.
i SAW this as a kid you're the first person i've ever seen in my entire life who has any like. evidence of its existence let alone THE FULL THING. thank you so much for this i actually can't put into words how vindicating it feels to just SEE this again
Watch this in an altered state of consciousness. Thank me later
The animation might be werid but worth watching
This Made Me Watch Sammy (2000)
Is this the full flim?
Ok first off
The animation is terrible it’s trying to go for a cel shaded look but it looks incredibly ugly now I’m not against ugly animation but the animation here is obviously not put into good use
As it looks like a video game cutscene
also the writing is terrible it’s way too basic The characters are bland and forgettable and it doesn’t go all out with its premise
Also I have to ask how did Ryan Drummond (The voice of sonic back then) and Lani minella (The voice of rouge the bat back then) got involved in this project perhaps they need more money
It’s no wonder this thing is lost media this is one of the most boring short films I’ve ever seen
Crazy pets is a good example of something being obscure that isn’t very good
Still I’m glad you upload this short film regardless it is terrible but it’s neat seeing more lost media pop up on UA-cam
One more question what were the crazy pets supposed to be for anyway is it supposed to be a creative animated series by a creator, Or is it an animated show based on a property made to sell toys?
Crazy Pets was based off a pet brand named Crazy Dog that was mostly meant for dog treats and pet shampoo. These characters have existed for as long as the brand existed, though never in an animated format until 2005. They still use the Crazy Dog and Baby Dog (the red and blue ones) prominently on their packaging, but AFAIK they don't cater to cats anymore
@@jonbrimgus8985 oh so this show is like the wacky adventures of Ronald McDonald and zevo 3 where it’s a commercial for stuff to buy
A brand of pet food and pet shampoo even
Then again those three are not the only cartoons mentioned that did this apparently back in the 80s there was going to be a Chuck E. Cheese animated holiday special but it never got finished as it’s nothing more than still images with an audio track and it was never released (honestly it’s for the best)
@@jonbrimgus8985 the animation looks cool the 2000s were always better
Holy christ I can tell this is going to be hilariously bad. Thank you
