the fact that he's burned bridges at every single club he's been to suggests the common denominator here is him
Chelsea and Inter..that’s it.
@@finfog4590 man utd. too, even everton he slagged off like he did chelsea - a longstanding pattern of behaviour
@@user-mq4hr1ly4b Okay, I vaguely remember Everton being mentioned as stepping stone or something like that. But Man U I didn’t know about.
@@finfog4590he secretly recorded a video (Instagram) from the training ground at United, because someone commented about his pace. In doing so, was a breach of contract! Bloke has a bag of chips on his shoulder. Simple as 🤡.
Lukaku ego is only one to blame.
He's a big lazy sod
And his timberlands
Lukaku is a brilliant player and a wonderful individual he has no ego at all. Try to remain silent unless you have first hand insight of him. Thank you
@@CEO786 just curious, do you have 'first hand insight' of him then? lol
Pogba and Jay Z influenza
As a chelsea fan, it's a real shame. I remember him coming in and destroying Arsenal, bullying them. Really sorry it didn't work out.
Lukaku’s was incredibly naïve and just dumb with that Dec21 Sky Italy interview. His comments were disrespectful with Tuchel during the middle of the season and the fans and, at a time we were playing quite well and had a close squad but then that moment disintegrated the dressing room and started playing badly. Then for 3 months or more Tuchel used Lukaku nearly every game at a time when he was rubbish and putting into no effort. He played on many games where he only had a dozen touches! I can only assume the management told Tuchel to use him because of the financial aspect but with hindsight it was clear many of the team players rebelled and didn’t want him to be the main striker. How else can it be when Lukaku hardly received passes.
Whose fault on these comments? 120% Lukaku’s fault and this is not the first time Rom has overstepped his career.
what he did to inter is even worse. He was happy there and he still lied to them.
Well said, Lukaku lost the dressing room with his colleagues
and look how he ended up. very right you are Sir
Dec21* Lukaku was at Inter in Dec20
@@davidstephenson164 Correct 🤣 Thank you.
None to be blamed other than Lukaku. If he wasn't happy, fair enough. Have a discussion. You don't come in for a massive fee, score a few decent goals and then give THAT interview. UNACCEPTABLE. His talent is not in question. He'll never be great because of his attitude
SORRY?? Did Twatterface, that amazing expert who loves sound of own voice just say Roma is not elite football...im sorry but when is one of the biggest clubs in Italy not elite football...on wait, he is English so only the Premier League is now considered elite, I mean what is elite, they say Barca, Real and now since Kane gone Bayern are elite CLUBS, but the football they play is not because of rest of league but I recon if you had to list, say the 20 biggest names (historically) in Euro football, Roma would appear on a lot of them, or maybe its just the top 6 who elite eh haha
Only lukaku to blame here. No one seems to talk about the line in the interview where he was asked "would you like it if Martinez joined you at chelsea" and he replies by saying "no Martinez, you stay there I'll come back".
And this interview was only three months after he signed where he started as the first choice striker and then got injured
Both a stupid question (disrespectful to Inter) and a stupid answer (obviously disrespectful to Chelsea) to match. Has media training went down the toilet lately?
None of this is Chelsea's fault, not one bit. Fans loved you, players loved you, manager loved you and you fucked it all up. I don't feel sorry for him one bit. Just happy he's no longer at my club, good riddance.
He's back next summer lol
Thank god for us then go messed inter around and now he’s had the juve scandal & he’s gonna end up at Roma. Scandalous player 😂😂😂😂
Simon = top LAD proper clobber
You can’t tell me Inter didn’t knowwhat was going to happen (or what they’d agreed with Lukaku)… get a massive investment from Chelsea for him, he’d then go and do an non sanctioned interview (agreed with Inter) for him to say he wished to return to Italy… he then returns to them for pittance… but then he went and did something Inter weren’t expecting and started talking to Juve before he burnt bridges there…
Chelsea were stupid in what they spent and that is on them but they can’t take all the blame for his disgraceful antics.. that is entirely him!
If Lukaku gets a mirror then the answer will be looking right back at him.
How many years of this boy's career have been on loan? Character is destiny.
To give some more insight about Lukaku ( I am from Belgium so I have followed his career and personality quite well) : he is NOT very clever...yes he speaks more than 1 language but most Belgians do😂) but he never ever - in his interviews , in his gestures on the pitch when things were not going his way - showed a lot of class or common sense
He IS a good striker, nobody can argue that...he IS
But he all too often lacks some perspective on his own qualities. He really thinks of himself he is one of the best strikers in the world...and he acts like that all of the time
In this whole transfer saga you can just conclude that he has lost a lot of credibility with a lot of people and fans
In Rome he will be loved and people will nurture him and make him feel important...he really needs that attention to perform
But please dont tell me he is a clever guy...he is very very limited when it comes to his brains😂😂😂
Interesting insight - thanks for this. I always wondered if psychologically he was a bit strange... I think he certainly made a massive mistake leaving Inter the first time. What I do not understand is I do think he is a good striker also but how is it that you train every day as a pro and still at times have a bad first touch? Must be more him not dealing with pressure well?
Would take him at arsenal at the moment two strikers one who is always injured
@@RemofRenaissance he left Inter because the Chinese owner ran out of money and extended Martinez instead,Jose will get the best out of him especially with Abraham injured. I look forward to the link up play between him and Dybala. He’ll easily score 25 goals
You don't get into the EPL or Seria A by being stupid. Lukaku is clever, but even smart people make mistakes. That interview was a big mistake, and he hasn't returned from it. Lukaku speaks French, German, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Flemish, Italian and the Bantu language of Lingala that is 9 languages
So he’s dumb in 14 languages lol
Lukaku's performances for Belgium were horrifically hilarious
Emile Heskey but without any of the hold up play
He has like 250 goals in 500 games. Insane goal to game average..
Mad how good the Belgium team has looked on paper for years now, always go missing
@@WOOOPdoctorFROGhere Yes his 75 goals for Belguim in 108 appearances, just reminds me of Emile Heskey 🙄
@@banbrotam Heskey scored 27 goals for England. Lukaku scored 0 goals for England. Your move poindexter
Wait, hold on. Inter Milan was in 2 spells. The 1st was fire, goes to Chelsea and then disaster... Goes back to Inter and also disaster. Recent form for Belgium disaster.
Lukaku cannot help but self-explode. He has ruined his own career.
Class at west brom
No consideration that Chelsea either lied or were such a mess that they didn’t deliver what they promised?
@@kyd70what did they promise exactly?! And what did inter do to him for him to negotiate with juventus in secret??? Stop excusing liars and snakes
@@kyd70we gave him everything he wanted, he’s on £325,000 a week, he started even when he was diabolical. It’s all his own fault. There’s a reason almost every club he’s left hates him.
Lukaku has slowed down, he is not as technical a player to be able to score goals without speed, so his best days are behind him.
His first touch.
It's Lukaku's fault. When he felt the love at Inter the first time he should have stayed. The fans felt betrayal and I think emotionally that impacted him also. I actually thought he was not too bad at Man U the first time also (not amazing but not bad).
I agree, i understand chelsea money was good and conte was leaving anyway but he is one if those players that need unconditional support which only Inter provided at the time.
At this rate Lukaku has been at more clubs than winning silverware doing his playing career.
No different to Ingerland's golden boy Harry Kane then 🤣
@@Hiya_Palnah, Lukaku at least won some things.
@@ardtob He won everything in Italy.
The british press are funny. When Jose sold him at Chelsea, he was crucified for it. When Ole sold him, apparently the player is to blame. When Inter and Juventus stopped bothering with him, then its the players fault. Same as Ndombele and Dele. Mourinho was crucified for these players, but Nuno and Conte disposed of them and they never got blamed. The British press truly have one tone for Jose and another for other managers.
Inter couldn't afford to keep Lukaku, they were in dire straights financially, Chelsea, desperate for a striker saw an opportunity and stepped in with an offer Lukaku couldn't refuse.
BUT Lukaku was a bit clever and gave an Interview which he new would end his Chelsea career and enable Inter to take him on loan, money in the bank and problem solved.
It all stinks, Lukaku has done Chelsea over, big time. He remains in his beloved Italy, albeit on reduced wages (still wealthy) and has cost Chelsea a packet at the end of the day.
I think most comments disregard what he did to inter... Which proves that last year it was lukaku that wanted to leave and not inter that sold him by force. This season at inter there was talk all year of signing him for good... Yet he talked with juventus in secret. The man is a rat.
@@ThatGuy-tx4vm Hasn't exactly covered himself in glory but there is no doubt at all Inter HAD to sell, they were in financial strife. Hoping Chelsea have seen the back of him.
@@haitch04really good take on this. Makes a lot of sense
Lukaku was at his best when he played for Everton! banged goals in for fun, never been that good since he went to Man Utd. Would love him back at the toffees! COYB
283 goal in 509 games is too good a record to believe it belongs to Lukaku
Sir Simon = Top LAD Proper Clobber ✊💯 Facts
Lukakus failures are down to him alot but can also be put down to teams not playing to his strengths, he isnt a complete striker who can adapt to all systems, if you dont play to his strengths might aswell not play him
He thinks he’s better than he is and that’s always been his biggest issue and prevented him being considered amongst the very best strikers around.
Lukaku is lukakus biggest enemy
Lukaku is at fault. Poch invited him to talk multiple times he refused, he was invited for preseason and refused, invited for preseason tour didn’t bother. It’s his fault reconciliation is not even a possibility now
Lukaku is to blame for accepting Chelsea #9 Jersey 😢....The curse is real
There is no curse (Drogba, Costa) only failures and he's the biggest failure
@@johnhopkinson7573 u want me to name all the #9 Chelsea flops?? sit aback & allow me:
Higuain, Aubameyang, Falcao, T. Abraham, Morata and more.....
Left Milan fit ...
Lost his nutritionists...
Hurt ankle 6 games in..
Came back 15 lbs overweight...
Never got back in shape..
Check his appearances for Belgium..
It all started when he played for Manchester United. That form that he had at inter was just a fluke. We (Chelsea) were scammed by Inter. Lukaku was never a great player IMO
Lukaku only has himself to blame, and deserves no sympathy! He’s an employee! Chelsea paid a LOT of money for him and he signed a contract after demanding £300k a week. His conduct has been a disgrace. He’s shown no commitment, respect or loyalty whatsoever! Chelsea should sue him for breach of contract if he refused to train or make himself available. Or make him buy himself out of his contract if he wants to leave.
Now because of his attitude, not even his beloved Inter want him! 😂
Pure player power. Clearly contracts mean nothing in today’s game!
It’s completely his fault. The fact he can’t get a club in Europe to pay a fee for him says it all about his character.
A manager changes formation that was working for you, you make a mistake in the press, manager comes out guns blazing in the press against you, fans frantic against you. Who would blame Lukaku. Tuschel knows how to destroy careers.
Hell do well for Jose at Roma .
It’s not Chelsea’s fault at all, we trusted him, brought him in, gave him the number 9 and he went behind our back and made it impossible for him to be trusted or loved again by the fans and now nobody wants him 🤣🤣🤣
Take a look at the UEFA coefficients Sam, Serie A *is* elite football, unless you think it only applies to the top end of the Premier League.
Failure? Lukaku is worth $150M+ and is still playing.
. No top club wants this guy and he was supposed to be one of the top strikers in the world. That is failure fyi.
Hahaha. 150m plus???
What planet are you on??
Yeah got to disagree there. You are worth what people will pay for you.
Still think he is class would take him as back up at arsenal. Class at inter first time. Was decent at united first season. He has been at clubs that have been in bad times. United and Chelsea at the time
I think the word - Insouciance - would be a great addition to Simon's vocab.
It all goes back to the interview he come a couple of months after rejoining. Things were totally fine up until then on the pitch anyway.
Who's to blame well that's easy it's the player he's happy to get paid his ridiculous wages without putting in the effort on the pitch
If this move doesn't work both for Lukaku and Mourinho, it may be end of the line.
Morinho ruined his career initially at man united. Morinho publicly embarrassed him and scapegoated for uniteds failures.
This is going to be a bad move for him
How can you blame someone else but himself for the worst first touch in the world as a striker
Brilliant.
Dude is the figurative definition of a snake so of course he's to blame for his failures. United fan btw.
Lukaku is a cancer too often. So, totally his problem. The guy just follows the money and is not a team player.
It's lukaku to blame if he focused and nailed down that finishing he could have been but ego and money ruined him. I never liked united signing him because he did not have the finishing touch or enough attributes to be a great striker. He's big and strong. Ironically I think his best days were at Everton and that is saying something.
How about lukaku himself.
He’s probably gonna be OFF to Saudi next year
Roma are screaming for a striker like Lukaku to finish the many chances that go wasted for them every week. I can see a lot of goals coming from the Lukaku-Roma match-up. Mourinho will sort him out.
Love the dig at Roma not being top flight. Yes, in comparison to Madrid, Bayern, City surely they’re not at that level. But Roma are a top 10 club by EUFA coefficient ranking. So let’s relax a little.
Just cause someone speaks more then 2 languages doesn’t make the smart!he’s Belgium ffs that’s standard 🤣
On another note, stop saying Milan when referring to Inter! Inter are only called Inter, AC Milan on the other hand are called Milan. Thank you that is all 🔴⚫️
His problem is keeping him focused for more than 20 games.
Went missing in too many games for Everton and Utd needs to move to Saudi or Italy with no return to Premier League
Sam. When you ask a question you normally shut up and let the person answer and not talk over them just to make your point to direct the answer in the direction you want.
individuals at top clubs responsible of recruitment is somewhat to blame. they don`t understand players..especially offensive players like wingers and quick strikers usually age like a loaf of bread over the age of 27-28. and they keep recruiting jaded hasbeens with `a name` in the belief of either a continuation of good form or a comeback in a `bargain` deal, wasting time and resources. add to this these older players still in their 20`s early 30`s usually command large salaries. these individuals/boardrooms never seem to learn
What would you do. Inter needed to sell him the first time. Hé went to chelsea and tuchell didnt use him the way hè needed. Went back to inter. And inter was holding the ball what they wanted to do. So what would you do. If it was me. I also would go and see if the competition is interested. There is nothing wrong with that.
All on the player
Hes the backups back up had me rolling! Maguire is terrible. On the goal today he literally ran into the other CB stopping both of them from defending the goal....it was pathetic and typical Slab head.
In the summer of 2021, Lukaku was coming to a team which had just won the Champions League. Did he really think everything would suddenly start turning around him? If yes, it does not speak well about his intelligence.
That cement booted fraud, Lakaku is to blame.
TT never asked for him, we was desperate for a 9.
It was Lukaku or Haaland.
Haaland was 150mil.
Roman didn't want to pay & tbh I don't think he wanted to leave Dortmund at the time.
Chelsea tried to give Lukaku what he wanted but didn't perform. We played Havertz instead then he got bitter & done the Sky Italia interview.
He wore the number 90 to mock Chelsea & burnt his bridges with us.
He then pissed off the Inter Fans.
He then Pissed off Juve.
Lukaku's ego is to blame.
Get him well away from my club anyway!
If Roma have Lukaku and Abraham in a 4-4-2. Oooh La!
I don't feel sick often
My biggest gripe on Lukaku - aside his first touch…more often than not he just never seems to strike a ball properly/cleanly. If you watch reels/highlights you get the impression he smashes every goal he scores. Reality is that 90% of the time - he just never hits the ball cleanly. Almost to the point where you think “it’s easier to hit the ball cleanly than make the contact he has just made”. Frustrating player to watch
Lukaku's attitude has stunk through out his career, no one but himself to blame, although I doubt he's that bothered, he's earned a bucket load of money and that seems to be his major goal in life.
Many reports he rejected Saudi Arabia. Why would he do that and take a pay cut to get Roma loan over the line if his goal is money?
Chelsea is not to blame, Lukaku caused his problem! Please leave Chelsea out of this.
Roma are paying a loan fee of about £8m and Lukaku has reduced his wages to allow the deal go through.
Simon hasn’t been listening to most of the news, lukaku had accepted offers from Saudi, but he didn’t want to go
The simple fact of the matter is that Lukaku isn't an elite striker and he thinks he is. He's not mobile enough and his first touch just isn't good enough.
He felt supported when they handed him the money that was fine , he is just not a good forward in the toughest league Italian football fine .
Big man Antonio is a better striker than Lukaku right now! And less BS.
You’re buzzin
Why did he go back to Chelsea? He could of stayed at Inter in the first place and he's even burnt bridges there now. 😅 What a mess.
He is surely you can’t blame anyone but him and his mouth
And his rock like first touch.
Wherever he has gone, he has always mouthed off and been disrespectful to his current club, alienating fans in the process. Happened at Everton, Chelsea, United and Inter. It's unfortunate as he will end his career not really being seen as a hero by any set of fans.
Dont be too harsh on him, don't forget he's not used the race card yet...
I'll give you a hint: his name rhymes with Lomelu Rukaku
Chelsea should have noticed that he had bulked himself up so much that he cannot run anymore. That's on them.
Simon Jordan has an excellent English vocabulary. Articulate and eloquent all be it in his mother tongue
Chelsea might as well have given me that £100m. They got no vAlue for their money
Simon Jordan stop talking over the other guy its just the 2 of you give him a chance to talk you listen then you can respond
He's a professional footballer, so everyone is to blame except the footballer! He's the only guy I know that has a worse touch than Mason Greenwood! 👀
Why on earth will u give an interview like that and burn all bridges
Lukaku is to blame for Lukaku's failure.
Lukaku is a typical Mercenary Footballer, the problem with Lukaku is, he is not good enough to be a Mercenary Footballer, so he fails eventually, where ever he goes.
There are 2 question to answer:
1. "What were Chelsea FC smoking at the time, to want to resign Lukaku?" Especially at that price and on that wage!!
2. Knowing what Lukaku is like: "Why would any Club want to sign him?"
His weight is to blame. Under Conte he was lean every other club he has been at he is way over weight
not sure what the guy on the right is on about saying Roma isn't top level football...back-to-back European finals, winning one and losing the other only on penalties. OK, so they're not Real Madrid, but if Roma isn't top level football then what do we call 13th-placed Chelsea? 😂
Shame Maguire doesn't take a page from Lukaku's book with the pay cut to play🤔
United should pay Harry Maguire what he want and he him go
All the bright yellow is off-putting
It's simply the worst transfer in history only coutinho can rival that but even he played more than one season for barca
Knowing multiple language is not indicating a person is smart. If one lived in one country and had parents from the same country and then talked multiple languages, I consider that man dedicated to learning (not smart still)
Lukaku is not a smart player. He is actually pretty dumb honestly based on decisions that he has made.
Trick question? .. everyone but Lukaku?
Himself. Rather simple
Surprised he's not away to Saudi. Seems right up his street.
The arrogance on Matterface
his brain isn't fast enough. the body can only take you so far. also seemingly doesn't suit a football playing side given his success at EFC and WBA. what chelsea were doing paying 95m after his stint at united i have no idea.
LuKuku need to lose about 10kgs ,then he'll perform better
It’s his own fault no loyalty whatsoever ti any club he plays
Tucell broke 💔 him
Simon really doesn't like Sam does he ?
Interrupting all the time
