Whether you have normal thyroid function or hypothyroidism, there is no benefit for you to avoid or restrict your intake of cruciferous vegetables. Eating cruciferous vegetables is not optional; they have numerous anti-cancer benefits, a high micronutrient to calorie ratio and an association with reduced risk of premature death. An effectively functioning immune system is dependent on their consumption, and these benefits clearly outweigh the risk of a modest decrease in thyroid function, which could only occur if the amount of raw cruciferous intake was at an insanely high level or a person was significantly iodine deficient. Eat one or two servings of cruciferous vegetables daily, in the context of a healthful variety of vegetables, beans, fruit, nuts and seeds; and be sure to get adequate iodine, too.

What's up is that the dude in the video is lying. Kale and cruciferous veggies have the lowest amounts of antinutrients
Plant leaves don't want to get eaten. Neither does any animal.
But the plants have to resort to chemical warfare in order to protect themselves. Animals can run, fly, swim, crawl, or bite.
Fr, does my man know that people evolve ways to get around the same chemicals he talks about
Animals don’t want to get eaten, but they have these amazing inventions called legs that they use to run away from predators. Plants are stationary so they have to develop other methods to try and keep predators away so they don’t get eaten, aka defense chemicals.
but they taste so good 😋
@@kiwi8. Of course they taste good. Just pointing out that, like plants, they also don't want to get eaten.
Gotta do your own research; I don't trust this guy
Cows and chickens don't want to get eaten either but we eat them.
They got legs to run
@@Seron_66 defense mechanism. Bullshit
@@Seron_66
And teeth and claws, can fly away, etc
no animal wants to be eaten, tell that to lion's
Have you ever actually seen how animals die in nature? Death by human is literally the humane and best way to go
When it's been 3 months since the divorce was finalized ......

Says the guy who standing still breathes like he ran a marathon
People say that but i dont hear it.
Dont agree with his message though, certain defense chemicals in plants 'train' our immune system to respond to them. Which keeps us healthy
Can’t hear a single breathe. Very weird how people cling on to jargon to protect their bubble of belief.
You guys. So tired of this breathing crap. He talks fast! It’s just his way. Try observing a fast talker … all the same.
Don't eat it then...eat a brick it's better for you
I've been eating Kale for years. I'm 40 years old. No thyroid problems or any other problems.
Kale gets eaten so much here in netherlands and we are very healty and tall so i dont believe
yep ! boerenkool. lots of kale in it and it's delicious. mum's dutch, so i've had it a few times in my life.
Net gegeten. 😂😂 Heerlijk!
And as for all his meat promoting nonsense :

" ...bitter foods are incredibly nutritious and contain a wide variety of plant-based chemicals that have significant health benefits. "
Kale doesn't make you tall that's purely just because of your ethnicity's genes lol
Please let natural selection take its course and stop trying to educate humanity. 😊
I simply supplement my whole food diet with Animal Pack multivitamins and sea moss and I feel AMAZING.
I feel so much better with that crap out of my diet.
Eating Meat, Organs, Eggs, some fruits and Raw Dairy has saved me.. Hashimotos gone and too many other benefits to get in to.
@@tristanlee8912 lmfao at cruciferous vegetables being the "crap" in your diet. Yeah, I'm sure it was the salads holding you back all along buddy.
@@paulcox2447 hilarious right. 🤦🏻♂️
I was strict "healthy eating" for years prior to the change so make of it what you will. Over 2 years animal based and I'm thriving, off medications etc 🤷🏻♂️
Who is they guy? What is he selling? Does he have a new "Hale No Kale" book out? Or supplements? Acts like a salesman, not a real doc. Who is this guy?
Idk bro , I don't eat it exclusively but when we make smoothies it's definitely in my smoothie .. texture with coconuts is great .. but it does have massive vitamin enrichment... eat everything in moderation .. beef chicken fish vegetables fruits ..
Hi bryan
You dont have to eat meat in moderation because its impossible to overeat to the point of having detrimental effects. Veggies you can over eat very easily since they dont satiate you they just make your stomach fill up.
