I finally got to watch all the videos I missed while in hospital, your Spring Mashed Potatoes collection. The Saas Fee video I enjoyed the most, although I cannot wait to see very cold temps and your boards on the powder. I might get out a time or two this season. I had to relearn how to swallow, then walk, then do stairs. I have been doing a lot of stairs, my legs seem to be getting stronger, and maybe by January or February I might be in good enough shape to take on some easy trails. Thanks for the great videos, and I just noticed you've broken 7k subscribers. Great.
Hi Barry, good to hear from you. I was wondering why you've been so quiet and hoping your health is keeping well... so happy things are going in the right direction... but sounded like you went through some ordeal... having to relearn swallowing and walking... hoping the skiing goes much better, as long as you can stand on them, let gravity do most of the work :-) I did spend some time working on short videos during the summer... so I think I managed to get another 1000 subscribers during a period that's normally quiet... people seem to like pond skimming :-)
Hi again. If you think about it and get chance could you give a few more panorama shots or shots back up the run you have just descended? I know people watch for the pov skiing action, but you do ski in some gorgeous scenery and I think it would be nice to see more of it :) Have fun this season and enjoy.
I'll probably start off in Switzerland, Saas-Fee, which has already opened, but I'm waiting for other resorts to open so I have more options... like Verbier and Glacier 3000. I'll then head into France for some early season skiing...
@@ChasingSnow Right, thanks for the heads up, Solden will be on a maybe list for the 2026 season, I'll see what the guy at Crystal Ski says in May after I've invested in my first ski's in April.

Nice job on keeping your turns short on the Black bumpy bits!! Keep up the hard work! Also that Tele skier at 17:50 has some nice moves!!
Cheers!
ah, mashed potato with a side of gravy! kinda what it looks like on the end of season on the east coast of the US! loved it!
Yeah, the higher part was good but mashed potatoes on the lower sections... Are you still in Australia?

Sure... and thanks for becoming a member once again... really appreciate the support!
what are going to be your first ski destinations for 24/25?

may I kindly ask which app or device you are using for tracking? I as the degree and speed can be shown on the graph. Thx
Hi, I use virb edit, which is free but discontinued...
It'll be a while before I'll feel up ski that run, don't want to really struggle in survival mode down a red only to be faced with a black.
If you go to the top, as you can see, it's red and black only... but getting off at the first station, I think you can do that one more easily...
