Sooo much to like in this GBB wildcard compilation. You can't make me just pick a single favourite ha I really like Bigman, H-Has and Codfish for their musicality and tone. - Bigman is one of few beatboxers like Berywam and codfish who have made it outside of the beatboxing community. Eg - he has been on Ellen and done well in various talent shows. - H-Has has a really nice high pitched staccato. His GBB 18 showcase includes my favourite drop - Show-Go is producing sounds no other beatboxers are. He is unique, and each tone is crisp, well polished and in his pocket. Extending the limits of what is possible with the human voice is what makes beatboxers impressive to me. I also appreciate musicality (eg - Berywam) as opposed to sometimes pointless noise making. These guys are legit.
@@games4061 Recently practicing patterns so it really stands out when I hear someone do something that would confuse me if I try. Free-styling to me is easy but if I have to follow a particular pattern, that’s when I struggle a bit.
going through a really hard time right now, just wanted to say thank you for putting out consistent content, it really is helping take my mind off of things and yeah i appreciate you. keep goin
Wow God bless you! Like this is seriously my goal each day is to bless someone with a smile on their face and hopefully cheer them up and I’m so glad you had the courage to tell me that I am doing that! Things will get better for you it won’t stay bad for long so keep your head up and continue to be strong & SMILE ❤️ appreciate you
Basically there are two ways to be entered into the Grand Beatbox Battle, either by invitation, or by winning one of the limited number of Wild Card entries. Top 4 finishers from the previous year are automatically invited back, and sometimes champions from renowned battles around the world (like the Asia Beatbox Championship) are invited as well. Then anyone is allowed to submit a Wild Card entry during a certain window of time and a group of them are selected to fill out the rest of the entrants. Then all invitees and Wild Card winners compete in a Showcase style elimination round with 4 minute solo performances, and the top 8 are selected to move on into head to head battles. Hope this helps clear things up
YO! Bigman is amazing, if you have the time in the future please please listen to "Bigman- Gaslighting". It's musically flawless! And his throat bass is better than Codfish's imo
TWO-H is the best. Sounds like an alien machinery with a sick flow, sick patterns.
That's opinions but it's a fact he is one of the most skilled and unique btbxrs ever, also he his bass among the 🕶️ darkest most epic.
Wildcard winners have a shot to do one elimination round
to be judged and to be classified or not for battles
Yup only 8 get chosen from the eliminations
Esh. Wildcard to solo elimination to battles

Helium’s pattern was insane
I think he used the sucker punch to shorten his kick pattern which makes him go faster, it’s insane!!! 😱💯
