- Dirtmasters MTB slopestyle 2024 - Can I still make the finals? I attempt to make finals at this gold level FMB World Tour event in Winterberg, Germany on my Canyon Stitched 720 but is it possible, would you make it?
I'm over in Winterberg, Germany at the Dirtmasters festival which plays host to the Gold level FMB World Tour slopestyle event and in today's video i push myself to see if i can still qualify amongst some of the world's best riders at the sport I used to dominate in. I love being part of slopestyle still, it's super cool to see how far its come and how crazy the trick level has got from all the young guns. I'm also almost double the age of a lot of these riders so it pretty crazy to still be enjoying it with them, so get ready to see what it takes to qualify and ride finals! Could you make it?

Ryan nyquist competed bmx into his 40s and decided to take up slopestyle mountain biking and made the podium at joyride and roofride...people saying sam is old is just crazy. He's only still in his mid 30s, although the crow's feet around his eyes might tell you differently
Great video Sam thanks so much, it’s great they let you use the drone footage of your run and you got some great shots of Toms. Much better than us downhill fans and the riders are getting treated atm.

I know it's obvious to say, but our man Sam is killing it especially considering he is a grown ass man, his bones dont heal like these youngins, so he gets extra points for keeping up with the young ones!

dude i love watching you stay young. For a vid idea can you please do some training sessions with Isted i feel he's the right guy to push you into doing the uncomfortable tricks. Maybe big airbag sesh with him or something. Wish i got to see you ride in Vernon summer series last year but did you play golf at the Okanagen club? A friend reckons they saw you there.

I know how Sam feels we are the same age as a street rider I may not do the. same stuff that Sam does but shredding my glory and my Alcatraz 3 -4 in a room. if the weathers nice. The whole weekend is just recovery we’ve all got to get old someday 😂😂

Try the la plaga build, it’s a mafia bike that has come Colombian flow to it. It legit feels like a dirt jumper with a unique frame build. Bmx, mtb, fixed, 26-29er wheels could fit on it too.Sam you could definitely do the bike justice

can you show what you meant by leg pulls to help with your back. I would love some tips, i think i might have a similar issue cause as soon as i start getting lower back pain, i have from my inverter and its good for a while till it happens again, late 30s(39lol) and still riding.
