I love this series of games. I've played all three and for the longest I didnt even care about completing them because I just enjoy the monotony of getting food and twigs lol. It's a very peaceful game series, even with the suspenseful moments and plot points
I like searching youtube for obscure games I remembered and see if there is any content for it, I'm glad to see you made a review and so recently as well
It is as most features aren't "gender locked " anymore 😁 Amy can go and explore the wildernes and Jack can cook and suffer from PMS behavior randomly running away and beeing oissed for no reason
TIME HOLLOW is also a good ds game, it has a dedicated animated intro song and everything, its mostly using your time pen to investigate a case and finding traces of stuff in order to circle the area and return it back to a point in time where you might find evidence etc. i think youd like it.
I remember getting this game and wanting to like it *so bad* but I never made it very far before inevitably the reaper came knockin'. The hunger decay was absurd, you could feed them a king's feast and by the end of the day they'd be on death's doorstep regardless. I tried out the first ds game years later and had a much better time with it. I'd love to see you try out the first and third games in the future! I've watched most of the reviews on your channel and I quite like your review style, factual with a little bit of sass thrown in at the right times. Keep at it!
Your review is much better than others arround youtube and I know how much youtubers like "likes" and comments so here you have one of each. Thanks for the review!
lost in blue 2 was the best in the series imo. the gameplay is solid and the gradual friendship and eventually love that grows between Jack and Amy is so natural and understated. or if you treat your companion like crap, they'll just be annoyed with you the entire rest of the game.
Ok so im 15, my co workers and i were talking about gaming and how we all had gameboys and cubes. I remembered I had an old dsi a LONG time back and THIS GAME i couldnt figure out the name but i remember key points. I was never able to finish the game and starved each time (bcs i was a small child and unable to comprehend how to play the game) and now im determined to find my old dsi and this game to finally beat it after over 5 years
I played both 1 and 2. The first one has very bad girls mode, but in overall gameplay the 1st one is better in general. They ironed out many details in 2, but 1 has more puzzles and stealth components.
oh thanks for this video almost always the existing videos of the game are from a long time ago i love this game i played the 1 the 2 the 3 and the shipwrecked
I love the series and iwn all 3 DS games. LiB 3 has a super interesting Story but gets super exhausting because you have to manage 4 people and their needs. So I stay with LiB2 as ny Favorite. LiB1 is okay but I jate that most features are lockes by gender (Kekth can't cook or care for the animals, while Skye is completely trapped around the main cave.
I actually haven't played the first one for myself, but I do know that the biggest difference is that you have the option to play as a female character in 2.
@@pixelrose8972 Your review seems like this sequel is very similar to the first. I just looked up Lost in Blue 3 for DS and it looks the most different when compared to 1 and 2. 2 seems to be very similar to 1, except the fighting mechanic is new. You can play as the female character in 1, but only after you complete the game as the male character, and the female characters' gameplay is not as exciting as the male character. You're mostly stuck in the cave and limited to the surrounding beach area, and much of your gameplay is cooking meals. Great video review! I think I'm going to have to get my hands on Lost in Blue 2!
I like ur video i was laughing when u said he eats a mushroom because hes stupid lol. I will subscribe 😊 i have a channel to if you like i only edit on my cell phone so no high tech editing like yours 😀
@@pixelrose8972 oh ok is the software free? Thank u for letting me know I’m far away from getting a computer I’m just using my Samsung A71 but there a big hole crack on the bottom right lol I do not like my iPhone I only use it for phone calls

I love the first one. I bought it to finally beat it after about 20 years. The second one looks even better haha

I still play this game! They should create more games like this.
did you checked the "parent" of this game, Survival Kids on GBC? ;)

my childhood of not knowing what this game is has now been satisfied, thank you
Hey I just found your channel i didn't knew lost in blue had a sequel on the DS i just remember the Wii game. Thanks 👍
Nice review, thank you. I think I will get this game.
I remember playing lost in blue i never knew what to do as a kid lol
How I can emulate this game? When I try to make fire the emulator (no$gba) don't recognize the mic, so the fire doesn't start.

This game looks rough on the direction pad lol
I've replayed the original Lost in Blue on DS so many times. How does this one compare?

@@pixelrose8972 in the 3rd one, you can also play as a girl too! I definitely recommend number 3
Just got this - feel like i'm being slapped in the face a lot right now!!!

Glad you enjoyed the video! Truthfully, my editing isn't the most high-tech either, lol.
@pixelrose8972 do you use a computer? I use my broken phone lol and youcut free app lol
I use a computer with Sony Vegas editing software. It's not the fanciest editing, but it gets the job done.

It is a bit expensive, but even downloading a free/open source editing software and learning the ropes can be a good step.
