GULAYAN SA PAARALAN | MGA PARAAN SA MATAGUMPAY NA PAGTATANIM NG LETTUCE AT IBA PANG GULAY

Gulayan sa Paaralan: Mga Paraan sa Matagumpay na Pagtatanim ng Lettuce at Carrots is a Documentary Vlog featuring Dona Arsenia Elementary School’s Vegetable Garden in Barangay Calingcuan, Tarlac City.
The said school vegetable garden was established during pandemic with the help of Rise and Rebuild International Foundation by providing seeds and the Green House.
According to Ms. Sherie May L. Osongco and Mr. Edwin Pagco, the School Principal and Agriculture Teacher respectively, they planted different types of vegetables as a source of their school-based feeding program.
With their vegetable garden, they started to plant kangkong, papaya, pechay and many more. They were also able to grow some lettuce and carrots which is not typically grow in lowland and hot weather area.
According to Ms. Osongco, they are on the process of experimentation and research on how to grow the lettuce and carrots properly. They also used Hydroponics technology in growing their lettuce.
