Thank you dude ... ive just landed a job on an rmx 4000 bed mill and some of the advanced features i havent had the experience of using so i will humbly accepts all tips
is there an option for 'lead in lead out' of a profile ID circle? Don't want to use a pocket cycle (empty space) and don't want my tool to enter material in a downward 'Z' movement at the diameter.
As long as you program a finish cut, the tool will enter the material at a distance equal to the finish cut size and then arc in to machine the circle. After it finishes the diameter, it will arc back out the same distance. If you prefer not to use a finish cut, simply create a profile with an arc or mill event to move into the final bore size and use two arcs to create the circle. End the profile by adding an arc or mill event to the second half of your finished diameter to move away from the wall before the tool comes out of the hole. Watch this video for a better understanding. ua-cam.com/video/3SjEmcyW4GU/v-deo.html Although this video shows how to make an ID groove, the process is the same. T.P.

You're welcome! You should be able to get hands on training via your distributor.

Where is that restaurant?
Helihoot, I have no idea. We were actually standing in front of a green screen. Our videographer found that picture and did the rest. LOL! T.P.
