EXACTLY! This also explained why he so adamant on playing LWJ eventhough already been rejected twice. And it's not like he got so many free times at that time that he only tried casting TU for fun only. He was so busy even. With so many full schedules. He even lost quite a number of fans there when he decided to play LWJ. And got criticism for playing LWJ by the novel fans said he only got the role for his looks. And yet, he still insisted to the point of doing the live casting in one day.
I think he need to thank LWJ tho hahaha. He got to know, and interacted with XZ because of LWJ. And the reason he casted for the roles was since XZ already been decided to play WWX, he want the characters that has the most screen time with him. Thankfully LWJ and him sooo similar that the director fell for his persona the moment she land her eyes on him on the live casting. "Isolated, but not arrogant." I can't forget this description that the director said about the similarity between LWJ and YB. It's so spot on dammit!

At first, Xiao Zhan was certain about choosing love with friendship but when he got to know Yibo's story of falling for him at first sight he probably realized how Yibo's effort took them to their present relationship and called it fate. well when you fall for someone obviously you make efforts to achieve their heart too. How was that achieved? With friendship! It happened both way. every one's answer shows their characteristics too. He was answering on behalf of himself as he is this logical, realistic type of person he probably preferred love through friendship and it happened for him this way. Cause you grow to like that person little by little more during the time when you got to know more about their characters which suits you too or you can admire them. Lust at the first sight shows your strong desire but how you achieve it and how you keep it is not with strong desire anymore which can mess with our behaviors sometimes if we don't control our feelings, but a logical respectful relationship with trust you build during the time and be good understanding freinds for each other otherwise you'll lose your love. Even when he was asked what's the mist important thing for him in a relationship this came to my mind "it's respect for him I guess" And it came out of his mouth "trust and respect". How do we fall in love really depends on our fate we can't be sure, but how we can keep our love I personally believe it should turn into a respectful relationship.

I will always come back to this video on their first meeting. XZ didn't know who he was lending his backpack to, but surely he must have seen his bag with WYB in the field. As for WYB , I don't think he'll ever forget that day. It's engraved in his heart. Finding himself so close to XZ made his fingers itchy, like he wanted to touch this new friend. I guess WYB wanted to get closer to his friend after chatting that he absolutely had to get the part in TU. He picked up his courage and heart, went to see the producer and... voilà! Pure hearts never fail. They get stronger!

Is it just me or does Yibo look slightly nervous when the interviewer was asking why he flew over to see the producer especially/why was the role important to him? (11:40) - he gave a nervous chuckle, glanced at XZ then seemed like he couldn't look him in the eye when she continued to ask, and ended up giving a fumbling answer that turned sarcastic hahaha he's like bish don't expose me.
Exactly !! For me, It seems one of those very very rare times that he's trying to playing it off and gather the whole situation rather than his usual "super honest and straightforward" answers! he was definitely nervous!
Not to mention he stuttered a lot while answering. Shows how much he was very nervous. Xiao Zhan must have not been aware of the efforts Yibo made to get closer to him.
Ya he could have simply play it off by saying that he likes Lan Zhan's character a lot, or he likes the story plot. But he got nervous and tried to play down the efforts he took to get this role...
I think he hasn't told ZhanZhan yet about his plan. Because ZhanZhan was curious and BoBo got slightly flustered about it... I mean recognizing that it's kind of embarrassing when Zhan is there and watches him with interest like that.

When I first watched this, I was looking at Zhan's face, and he did Not have all this info! But nods like a good little supporter anyway, then looks confused.
Because it would not occur to him to hide this info, but Yibo - who just tells things like they are - would probably lie and conceal this without hesitating.

Si igual a Yibo no le fue igual de fácil se tubo que esforzar mas porque XZ en the untamed el veía a Yibo como un niño y que lo que hacia y le decía era solo un juego igual hizo que se sintiera atraído a el cuando terminaron de filmar no se volvieron a ver y el que la paso mal fue XZ porque sentía que se había quedado enfrascado en el personaje ww, en un reportaje dijo que para poder desprenderse de ww se tubo que meter en el próximo personaje para poder recuperarse así es como viajo a Japón a hacer el salvaje y otra película mas no se volvieron a ver hasta que empezaron a promocionar the untamed, cuando se volvieron a ver encontró un Yibo mas maduro y los sentimientos que había reprimido volvieron a surgir, pero esta vez fue Yibo quien tubo que declararse a XZ ahi es cuando a una periodista le dice que habia recibido la declaración de alguien que le gusta, de ahi en mas las cara de felicidad de ambos es impagable...
