After listening to this 50 times it's clear to me now that Solji was objectively better. Her stage presence is much larger and you can hear give it her all. Though bora is good, her voice is suited for giving a bottom line to a main vocal e.g, Solji.
I agree. A good singer is not necessarily the one who has more powerful voice/higher range. I do like Solji, but Shin Bora's voice is calm and detached. She will be more suitable for less "mainstream" and less cheesy genres such as jazz, blues, even country. Imagine when I just want to hear some soothing and calming music at night, the emotion in Solji's voice might be too much for me.
