I cracked up seeing Bob's impression of Symone. Jennifer Lewis and Jackée Harry energy/swag all the way!
I 100% agree with them saying "Thank God Symone struggled with singing, so we can get some vulnerability". I actually think it helped Symone a lot, because it showed her confidence, like everyone else on Earth, is something she has to fight for, and it makes us cheer her on when it prevails.
Two things I specifically love about Bob on Symone:
(1) Gigi doing nigga wigs for Symone
(2) Bob's impression of Symone

Symone really had what Gigi Goode was lacking on S12: VULNERABILITY
A lot of it has to do with production and editing, but her vulnerability really makes us can relate (to some point) and cheered for her
..........and actual good looks and personality XD.
Sorry just kidding, but yeah gigi is not my cup of tea. Although to say, gigi and her house including symone...are really not my cup of tea, since they are look queens....but they dont sew much of them if any, they are not exactly....the best performers, they are not exactly funny either in jokes and comedy or being a funny person like alyssa, they rely on being pretty and skinny, they have very high confidence which I love from a queen...but not when there is nothing to back it up and yeah....its surface level for me. But i can see why people might like them, they do have their niche. Having said that, symone is better than gigi in some of these things which makes it easier for me to accept her win, since she does actually have funny times and stage presence, have good energy, has a likeable personality and the confidence doesnt cross over into arrogance and she has vunlerablity.
@@lostblueboy Gigi can sew tho (and does hair) 💀. Gigi won snatch game and Symoné won an acting challenge and a branding challenge they can be funny. They also made top 4 (with them both winning 4 challenges) they can back up their confidence with their skills

Just want to talk about the whole reference thing, i understand Bob, but also i think the way Symone did it was different, because she was referencing big pop culture moment, instead of just copying a look that was on the runway in whatever fashion show, like we had some queens that their whole runway package was copied looks from runway but no one talks about it, and that bring me back to Symone, with Symone it was different cause she wanted to reference big pop culture moment, that probably shaped her drag, which is different from someone just copying a look that has been in whatever fashion show just a year before
Well said. There's a difference between being influenced by/ referencing a moment or subculture, etc. versus directly imitating something. And many queens have great looks but no perspective with said looks. Symone's looks always had a clear POV.

Before I heard her speak, I was all for Symone for the win. My mom, also Simonne, died just a few months before and I was depressed. The moment I heard her name, she was my choice; it made me smile. My mom had a manner in a white lady kind of way like Symone. I like hearing her uncommon name said so much. So happy she won.
