I am a BTC holder, and I like Cardano. Other than being able to finally get some non-KYC ADA by trading it directly for my non-KYC BTC, I don't see any use to this because all "defi" is a scam. But I still like it. Also, if you're an ADA holder (or hold any other crypto really), you want to put those profits into BTC anyway.
@@LearnCardano Otherwise sitting on btc does nothing but store value. Correct me if I'm wrong but ordinals almost slowed things down and created quite some havoc. Not even really sure what ordinals are. What else do people do with btc other than store value?
I'd have to learn how to best structure a fundamental analysis video but sure. If you have a good example of another project I can do the research and create it.
In my opinion, the bridging should happen in the background without forcing the user to learn these concepts. This is why adoption is slow. Easy for us! Difficult for many many ppl
Yes I agree. Users should not know that its happening. It should just work. Milkomeda did this with their wrapped smart contracts between Cardano and Milkomeda. It worked quite nicely.
I had it recorded but the website was down for some reason. I haven’t spoken to the team and didn’t want to include it if there was a problem. I’ll include it in future BTC related videos once I confirm the platform is still ok.
Hi Pete and thanks for the update. Could you (or anyone else) tell me if this is like permissionless (and bridgeless) Bitcoin Smart Contracts that Zeus is trying to build on Solana network?
I just had to go through the documentation of Zeus to work out what they are doing. From this: "Zeus Network is bridgeless As liquidity providers on each chain do not receive liquidity back on the other chain, the assets provided on each chain are safeguarded by their respective protocols." "How Zeus Network works? Chain-agnostic transactions are proposed and stored on Solana: Bitcoin and Solana transactions are first proposed by Zeus Nodes and then submitted to Zeus program states. Signatures are signed and aggregated on the Zeus layer: The Zeus layer provides programmable signatures through the Zeus Program Library (ZPL). Broadcast signed transactions to target blockchain: Zeus Node relays signed proposed transactions to target blockchains. Secure the cross-chain communication by fraud proofs: When certain Zeus Nodes collude, honest one can secure the network by simply submitting fraud proofs to slash malicious ones." Zeus provides two way communication and interaction with the chains via its own validator network. Zeus broadcasts valid transactions to the target chain. Cardano on the other hand, Bitcoin users will be able to directly sign transactions on Cardano. Cardano's feature is a one way interaction from Bitcoin to Cardano. Not from Cardano to Bitcoin. Both are good solutions. I like not having to have another validator network for interoperability.
Being a part of cryptocurrency is obviously the best thing that has ever happened to me because I followed your portfolio not quite long ago and I was able to acquire a new apartment... I must say crypto is the future.😮
@@LearnCardano fldt and yamfore are already have a partnership. It’s says special stablecoin yield as one of the benefits. Fluid created aquarium so you can pay in NT. Imagine using Midgard as a layer 2 which fluid is also apart of & a seamless pairing of interoperability with yam & fldt & btc. Could be highly possible NFA just my thoughts.
People that hold BTC dont need cardano... obviously cardano wants the opposite since its needs ANYTHING at this point to draw interest in its direction..but like most ideas they end up never talked about in a few months with little to no effect..
This is incredible ! Big Kudos to the Fluid Tokens team!
Huge!
Potentially huge!
Definitely huge
Thats what she said
This WILL change things!
Yes yes it will.
All DApps need to integrate this and Metamask Snap for Cardano for BTC and EVM interoperability.
Lolol..whyy
Wow! That's exciting News.
Thanks
It sure is!
btc users NEED THAT!
Yes yes they do, but I think BTC maxis won't care.
Brilliant, love ada
yes love it all
Rosen Bridge ❤
Love what they're building.
This is amazing! Thanks for the video Pete! 👍
Yes its an amazing feature
Used to be? Your photo is still on there website. lol, awesome video. Thanks for sharing
I got paid for my role. I don't have an obligation to it anymore. Still a super fan and supporter of course.
very good
Very good
Nvm me, just boosting the Cardano signal :D
Thank you Martin! It really does help
I'm all-in for interoperability, but I'd say that Bitcoin users probably will just hate anything (shitcoins) that comes near their precious btc.
There is a swarm of Ordinals, Runes and Stacks users that will be more than happy to have options to put their assets to work and earn more.

@@LearnCardano I didn't know that! I've just read r/Bitcoin and it seems all there ever is to Bitcoin is hating on anything non-Bitcoin.

ADA - i love it
indeed!
Great news! Would you do fundamental analysis video on FLDT? Can’t find a good one…ty

Is your audio synced correctly to the video? seems a little off.
Yeh I don't know. I'll check

Will the Fluid token lead us to earning some passive rewards in BTC that you can hold in your Cardano native wallet? If yes, that would be big
I'd have to consult with the Fluid team to see what rewards BTC users might see with this integration
You didnnot mention anetaBTC bridge did you lose faith in that project?

Do you know what's going on with the Nami wallet? It's not connecting to dapps like it used it, acting a little bit weird and concerning... Thx!
Nami has issues since the Chang hard fork. Personally I'd change over the Lace at the moment from Nami.
Nami is far too basic. Lace or Eternl is much better options.

I hope so!
