I always wanted to trade crypto, so I gave it a shot despite being confused by the price volatility. Even after watching many UA-cam videos, I found it difficult to understand and ended up losing my trades.

Ethereum and all other altcoins have teams, investors, roadmaps, marketing budgets, shares in tokens.... so, before approving ETF, they should be approved as companies(registered securities) by regulator.
And they will have to reveal all the premine details, ownership etc etc
they will just lie about it like they have done daily, every eth promoter deserves decades of jail time for promoting fraud

You won't get much after all the expensive Grayscale fees! Just buy the real ETH and stake it yourself.

Probably not at first would be my guess.
No, not at all. That would require far more regulatory hurdles. You could at best hope for them to negate their own management fee by staking, but at the same time, they can't stake because then they wouldn't be perfectly directly holding the ETH anymore, in a regulator's eyes.

@im7254 Ethereum is not permissioned. Bitcoin was pre-mainstreamed mined and it got an ETF.
