- As if there would be any other option (lol), Kierra Sheard will be playing the role of her mother Karen Clark-Sheard in the newly announced biopic for gospel greats, The Clark Sisters.
Along side Kierra are powerhouse vocalists Christina M. Bell (playing Twinkie Clark), Sheléa Frazier (playing Dorinda Clark-Cole), and Angela Birchett (playing Jacky Clark-Chisholm). Actress Raven Goodwin will be playing Denise Clark-Bradford. According to musician Donald Lawrence, the songs within the biopic will be live and not lip-synced over a pre-recorded track. - Розваги

nah she doesn't have the weight in the lower register to be a Mezzo. She's a lyric soprano almost to a soubrette because she sometimes sounds child-like like listen to "Jesus is the answer" @ 1:35. Almost sounds like a little kid.
Yaboii_cobie ok I see a lyric soprano but not a soubrette cause her voice isn’t like soft so I can definitely see a lyric soprano and most people confuse lyric sopranos and mezzo sopranos cause here voice sound alike

People act like Kierra can not sing the heavens down. Kierra does not have to sing a high note to tear a church up. Kierra can hit high notes just fine. I like Karen better in the 80's, 90's to present Karen is way too sloppy for me. Karens high notes aren't even all that. Karen occasionally sing a great high note, but most her all over the place, sloppy, and not well supported.

Is it just me or is it since Kierra has had this roll playing her mother that she is tapping into another level in her voice? It’s as if her voice itself has opened up to a whole other range and not only that but she seems and sounds so comfortable in singing in this register.

Kierra has such a powerful and resonant soprano range. Her voice has that innocent little girl sound to it and sounds like it sits comfortably up there whereas Karen’s voice has a much lighter and airy sound when she belts up there. I can’t wait to watch it and hear what Donald has done. NO DOUBT it’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Daniel Doster-Mann I suppose they sought out someone who can squal like Twinkie. Christina reminds me of Twinkie in that perspective, she can take it to "church", and she's been in a quartet . Kierra is phenomenal and powerful too.

Everyone one of those ladies should be proud of how they portrayed the Clark Sisters in this movie. This was one of the best biopics I've seen since the TLC story and New Edition....it was absolutely outstanding and they sang THE SHOES off my big feet!
