The name Pushpa Hans sounds familiar to me as one of the leading authorities on Indian film music. Longtime back in the 60s ( In India) I read some articles on film music written by one lady with the same name (Pushpa Hans). The audio/video quality is excellent. Thank you for your efforts in sharing the golden old music with the folks of YT.
Pushpa Hans, wife of Colonel Hans Raj Chopra, was an actress and playback singer. Born in Fajilka and educated at Lahore, she had done the role of main female lead in many plays. She worked with the theatre director Ramesh Mehta in Delhi. Pushpa Hans acted in V. Shantaram’s film Apna Desh (1949) and Sohrab Modi’s film Sheeshmahal (1950). She was the lead actress in the first film. She acted with the great actors like Naseem and Nigar in the second movie, the poster of which had Pushpa Hans’ name on it before Sohrab Modi! She sang in many Hindi and Punjabi films. She sang the famous Punjabi song ‘Chan Kithe Gujari Aai Raat Ve’ in the movie ‘Chaman’. She received the Padma Shri award in 2007 for the extraordinary performance and her contributions to cinema. She expired in 2011.

This is Meena Shorey. She left India for Pakistan in the 1950s. The picturization here is very reminiscent of the "Kya Mil Gayaa Bhagwaan" song of Noor Jehan's from 'Anmol Ghadi' (1946), so perhaps that is why you are thinking of Noor Jehan.
People generally know what happened to Meena Shorey after she left India, I would like to know what happened to her husband Roop Shorey who stayed behind.
