Great video as always! The square panels on the side were brown on the G1 TMNT party wagon toy (and it was only on the passenger side because it swung out), but in the cartoon they were yellow like the rest of the van. Honestly I'm really happy that this turns into the cartoon design for the van rather than the toy design, I always thought the cartoon van looked cooler. I wish this guy wasn't so expensive because I really wanted to get 4 of them and display all of the turtles (with all red masks because I will do that whenever possible) but still, a very cool figure, can't wait for mine to come in.
As an old-school Transformers and TMNT fan, it was a treat to see this review. Also, I love that you used the original TMNT song lyrics in your review; really put a smile on my face.

They missed a great opportunity for a combiner: 4 turtles + 1 rat Each turtle forms a corner of the van, Splinter forms the top and center (making the van a lot bigger, but you get a full team and master)
I can't wait to see what Toyhax/Reprolabels does with this guy; really could use those brown[/orange] sides, some bumper stickers and license plates, [silver blades, and emphasizing the eyes]. Perhaps even a grimacing Autoturtle sigil?
I will say I like the option of the other turtle heads but I think the generic head is what I’ll be having on mostly for the fact like the other crossover figures there representing the vehicle as a transformer and not a specific character as a transformer with their vehicle mode being the iconic vehicle
I heard about another Ninja Turtles Transformer where the 4 turtles combined to make the van. I think it was from the cube line. Where most of their figures just turned into cubes.
there's also a 3p mini jeep transforming in each turtle (thus, a 4-jeeps box). there's also a masterpiece-sized 3p van becoming a hi-tech leonardo, very similar to flame toys standard. but, honestly, this one is the best out of the bunch..
as I was watching your review I couldn't help but think of pairing Party Wallop with Ectotron, its too perfect. As for the lake of silver on the weapons I'm sure Toyhax will remedy that and hopefully give us a black mask for Last Ronin nod. real shame we don't have crossover comic for this figure I would love to read TMNT Transformers comic.
I wonder if they'll bring out a silver painted variant to be Metalhead one day. Feels like he would have been the natural character for a crossover, although I admit the four-in-one aspect is very cleverly done.
I just got mine yesterday and am pretty happy with him. He is super solid in bot mode, but the hip joints are hella tight...and I found the transformation kinda fiddly. Regardless, I dig the size and chonk, and the accessory storage is a great feature. He makes a great Party Wagon as well! Thanks man!

Absolutely love this thing. I only wish they would've thrown in a black bandana head instead of the plain green, you know for that Last Ronin look. These crossover figures are just hitting all the right nostalgia.
I am going to repaint this figure to make it Metalhead (I feel like that's who it should have been from the get go). Edit: looks easy to make him Metalhead, just paint the arms, head and most of the legs grey/silver and the shell gold. Then paint one of the turtle bandanas yellow. I've always liked Metalhead and felt that he's been overlooked by turtle mech/robot designers every time.

Party Whallop is a play on the name of the Original Toy....it was the Party Wagon.....Not the Turtle Van as many call it...And the side panels with the 4 Bumbs....the Original Toy they were and orange brown color....Animation, was colored the same yellow as the rest of the Van

Am I the only one whose copy has side panels that don't fold flat in vehicle mode? They have to flex to fold flat to form the sides of the van. Specifically the panels behind the wheels and the ones that fold out from under the roof.
I sometimes wonder if the reason toy companies don't do certain things with figure releases is for the third-party creators. Seriously, Donnie's staff is too short and instead of a generic turtle they could have used Metalhead for the fifth.
According to the wiki, the from of the van can store on his back in robot mode, but I have no clue how this is supposed to be done. Anyone know how this works?

You don't need to worry too hard about that, most people just keep the accessories they aren't using in the box.
If you reverse the storage of Leo's Katanas in vehicle mode, they look like fog lights. A better look IMO.

Vaguely annoys me that the hands are grey with five digits. They look like they're from another figure. TMNTurtles have 3 fat digits.
And I'm annoyed you seem to be the only one that has brought it up. And how hard is it to smooth the details between the main four digits? So obvious.
