Thank you for watching🙏 Fresno is my home town. Still have lots of family there. Going there tomorrow for my hair cut.😆EKT, Magnolia, Louie's nursery are my three favorite place to shop for fruit trees every time I am in Southern California.
I like this nursery so much because they have what I want that’s mango and avocado . I live in this area and didn’t know that we have a good nursery nearby until I watch your video . Thank you for sharing
@@donchamreun2266 Thank you for watching 🙏another nursery that I also like to shop at is Magnolia Garden nursery it is not far from EKT. It was not on this visit.
@@Betty599 I mention those 5, because of out of 150 pawpaw cultivars these 5 are in the top 20 in every category: Growth vigor, Yields, Sweetness, Aroma intensity, Flavor Complexity.
Thank you for watching🙏I do have an Orange Sherbet Mango planted in ground a month ago. I am keeping my fingers crossed mango will go here. Will keep you updated on all of my Mango trees.
@@Betty599 Sherbet Mango should do very well there. they are thriving in Phoenix. What planting zone are you in? Also Orange Sherbet is PolyEmbryonic, therefore grows true from seed.
@@Betty599 Hope it's planted near wind breaks & where it gets winter sun. I would provide it protection when it's going to get below 27F. They experience die back at 25F. trunk is the most important thing to protect. You have had mangos surviving a zone 9a winter?
@ this is the first time I’m planting mango. All of my avocado trees survive temperature in 9a without protection, including bougainvillea, and all my citrus survive without protection I am hoping mango would also survive. 🤞My elevation is 2000. I’m planting it on a mound with 50% sand mix with native soil and heavy gypsum. All of my sensitive avocados varieties from Florida is surviving zone 9a without protection. I am protecting the mango trees until it get a little more mature.
I really like this nursery. I bought several plants from them. I bought a sapodilla, longan, and guava. I drove there from Fresno area
