Since you like doing weird balance pvp things, I’d love to see a strat utilizing balance’s strongest spell wrath of Aquila. It hasn’t been used in current meta because you need to sacrifice a triangle socket but with wastelander gear now farmable i hold out hope
Lol the shadow particles were from the animation for the spectral blast colliding with the waterfall behind it. You can see it's in the shape of a square for each individual projectile, because each one is its own texture. The way the game is coded, the edges of the texture block out the waterfall's texture where they overlap, so the shadowy parts you're seeing are the background behind the waterfall.

this also happens sometimes when underwater, i’ve noticed it with fire dragon and scarecrow but they were never as big lol
