I just got my Amazon Prime Day order of the JBL’s. These are fantastic. I have had trouble with my AirPods and also my Soundpeats earbuds. They are fine when they work, but mostly have a problem with losing charge on one or the other bud while in the charging case. So far the JBL’s haven’t done that. I love the sound, too. Your reviews are very thoughtful and in depth. Thank you!
Paul, always loved the attention to detail and your choice of words to describe these accessories. Really is a lifeline for me and your POV ;) has been crucial in my decisions. Currently, I'm torn between the jbncl130 and nc230. The 130s have a noticeably different build and also a 10mm driver as opposed to the 6mm on the 230. I know driver size doesn't translate to sound quality. But it would mean the world to me if you could make a detailed comparison between these two? Also real quick here on the comment responses, how do you feel about the crossbeats tws'? Like the enigma and torq for example. Thanks as always, you're the best !❤
I haven't tested any crossbars products, so I can't really comment on them. I have also not gotten my hands on the 130NC and most likely won't be able to anytime soon. As much as I like the 230NC, I wouldn't recommend it for two reasons, the first being, quite a few people have mentioned in my comment section about one bud giving up and them having some after sales issues with it. They were only given a temporary fix by just having it cleaned and not replaced. The second reason is that they've recently launched the new JBL Tune Beam, which is feel is a terrific evolution over the 230NC in every aspect. It also has a better IP rating, so it shouldn't have the single bud not charging issue like the 230NC did. I have done a comparison between these two I'd you'd like to watch that video for more information, and of course the in-depth reviews are also available.
Bummer that you won't be getting the 130s.. I have already watched every jbl series you've made so far.. thanks again for your response. Love you!@@PaulsPOV
Hey Paul love ur detailed reviews. I would suggest you add in a new category in every earphones review which is sports category basically if they will fall out during a jog in the park or treadmill or while doing body weight exercise alike pull ups. Push ups and squats. You will be able to do all of that in any park
there's an awful lot of comments about the Air 3 Pros. might put you in a tough spot eh?😂😂 edit: i played the vid after writing the comment and i saw the intro edit of the buds, and i gotta say as a kinda stable viewer.. them intro vids of urs are something else mate, kudos
@@PaulsPOV a good thing to do would be to compare it to the Nothing ear 2. Even tho you dont have the product, you could assert the practicality that Oppo has over Nothing (e.g. LDAC×LHDC)
Yess Please @paulsPOV I am also waiting for your review on oppo enco air 3 pro and i was thinking to buy oppo enco air 2 pro ...but If the upgrade is worth the price point ...I would buy those over enco air 2 pro
@@PaulsPOVI just got it, the audio is ultimate, the highs, mids , separation all are pretty good. But the major con is it's ANC, it just doesn't work man. The ANC on Oppo enco air 3 pro sucked. It's almost like 10 decibels of Noise cancellation whereas it's advertised to be 49 decibels. It's strange how they can even do that, 42 decibels on realme air 3 totally cancels fan noise, water from tap noise. But enco air 3 pro can't even cancel fan noise, fan noise is clearly audible in max ANC mode in heymelody app. Another problem is the Fit of the earphones, I've tried all 3 tips but the earbuds don't feel as secure as other TWS. This is not expected at such a high price of 5000. If you want audio quality look into it, but anything else, please avoid this product.
Hello. I am confused between these two earphones in the videos, add sennheiser CX true wireless and sony wf cx500 to the mix. My priorities are sound quality and the vud should not fall out when i run. What would you recommend? Thanks in advance.
I haven't tested the Sennheiser or Sony, so I can't really comment in them. The Yamaha's are the ones to go for if sound quality is your priority. I haven't had them fall out of my ears at any point. They sit quite firmly and feel quite secure.
I've had some last for almost 3 years, but usually they should last for about 1.5yrs to 2yrs before they go flat. If you fast charge, they might last for a little less than a year.
I haven't tested the 130NC, but I'm pretty sure the E3B will be superior on a sound front. That generation of JBL earphones was focused more toward loudness than clarity. Comfort wise, I've found the E3B to be quite comfortable for hours on end. I'd highly recommend them on both fronts.
I've spoken to them in length about this and am told that they have service centers across the country. They have set rules for TWS earphones and for honoring warranties. I think they'll be good. But if you do run into any issues if you buy into Yamaha, feel free to let me know. I'll put you in touch with the right people.
