    Hi. I just want to say your videos are really helpful. Just a suggestion, but I would find it really helpful if you put the videos in playlists according to each topic. Like all the electricity in one playlist.

    • @Cognitoedu

      Hey thanks for the comment and suggestion. We did consider it but a lot of the videos are tricky to put in a category. We use the numbers after each video instead so you know which videos go together when viewing the playlist 👍

    Just wanted to ask what would happen if there was a force for the vertical component and horizontal component after you have subtracted them? What would you have to do with the two values you have? I love your videos and you have helped me out a lot. Keep up the good work.

      the plane would go up/down AND go forwards/backwards
      so the resultant arrow would be in the middle of the 2

    When subtracting the vertical forces, do you subtract the lift from the weight or the weight from the lift? It wasn’t specified..

    • @ShreyBrawlStars
      @ShreyBrawlStars 3 роки тому +3

      The resultant force acts to the right if the arrow pointing right is longer than the one pointing left (or if it’s labelled with a bigger number)
      If the arrow pointing left has a bigger number then the resultant force acts left.

    3:09 So if the left and right are the same hence the force being zero, does that mean it's at continuous rest (Newton's second law of motion), or is there a uniform motion? [I'm guessing it's at rest]

    What if we had 90,000N on the right and 120,000N on the left what would be our resultant force?

    • @ayannasahota7311

    Thanks for the video. Lot of doubts are cleared by watching it. But Can someone please answer my question?
    If the plane is in equilibrium what does this mean? Does this mean the plane will take more speed or no speed? Also, if the force of 30000 N is acting on the right what does this signify? Is it something F = m*a and assuming mass as 3000kg and force as 30000N, we get acceleration of 10m/sec2?
    But what after getting the values? Overall where is resultant force used?

    • @khadija2625
      @khadija2625 4 роки тому

      Hi @Shubham Malu, I'm guessing that if the plane is in equilibrium, then you might want to think about Newton's first law where if the forces are balanced, the plane will either continue at the same speed it was at before, or if it was stationary (which obv it couldn't have been but still) it would remain stationary.
      Also, still guessing, but if the plane has 30,000N of resultant force acting on it to the right, think of it as the 30,000N is the force that results in the plane moving to the right.
      Sorry, but I don't really get acceleration myself, but hope this helps. ☺
