What a Day That Will Be Lyrics There is coming a day, When no heart aches shall come, No more clouds in the sky, No more tears to dim the eye, All is peace forever more, On that happy golden shore, What a day, glorious day that will be. What a day that will be, When my Jesus I shall see, And I look upon His face, The One who saved me by His grace; When He takes me by the hand, And leads me through the Promised Land, What a day, glorious day that will be. There’ll be no sorrow there, No more burdens to bear, No more sickness, no pain, No more parting over there; And forever I will be, With the One who died for me, What a day, glorious day that will be. What a day that will be, When my Jesus I shall see, And I look upon His face, The One who saved me by His grace; When He takes me by the hand, And leads me through the Promised Land, What a day, glorious day that will be.

@@benjamincoetzee1735 Previously I posted the following: “I could care less what religion they are. One of theirs passed on and what a great tribute with such beautiful voices of joy and love.” And, I received a very “Twilight Zone” type response listed below: Benjamin Coetzee responded to my post by saying “Beliefs matter. What if they were cannibals, ate one of their own, then sung beautifully for them afterwards with joy and love?” This is my response to his posting: Benjamin, if you read the title of this video it was “Singing after an Amish funeral in Lancaster County, PA” and I think that their beliefs are well known because they are Amish-a religion that honors God. If you were attempting to take my words out of context (“I could care less what religion they are”) cannibalism never has been a religion. And where did that comment come from? Your name seems to suggest that you are located in Africa and as I understand, that was a common practice in Africa (cannibalism) but that has never been acceptable here in America. When we “have someone for dinner” there is a whole different meaning in America. To me your comments were offensive because this video was posted to show love and respect for one who has passed and what you said was bizarre, off the wall and seemed to be the ramblings from a person who might have escaped from one of those places with the padded rooms. It does seem that because of Covid-19 many of the prisons and mental hospitals have released patients and unfortunately those released spend their time “trolling” on computers. Based on what you wrote it appears that you might be an atheist and cannot show respect for those who have passed on. So, in the future if you have some demented or inappropriate comments please keep to yourself and show dignity and respect for those honoring a deceased relative.

I can understand why you are offended, because your comment that you couldnt care less what religion they are, shows a complete lack of discernment and regard for what is true. If your measure for what should be respected is how well people sing or show each other 'love' then you should be offended because such thinking is humanistic and demonic. There is 1 true religion and the rest are false and demonic. Your comment shows no regard for such things, and this is what i was addressing ... not the video

Your comments are all interesting, Can we all enjoy the liberty in Christ. Now let me clarify, This was the funeral of my amish mother who was longing to leave this earth for several years. Her dying request was to have the family sing a few songs at the end of the funeral. The people in the video are mostly her children, great grand and grand children. We are believers in Christ and would preferred not to be labeled as Mennonites ect, ect. We are believers. It is correct that the traditional Amish would not sing at a funeral so we as a family waited until most all of the attendees departed to sing and fulfill mothers request.
Beautiful singing. I want to be there singing with them! God bless your family! One of my ancestors who came here from Switzerland, Jakob Beiler, is also the ancestor of many of the Amish.

This brings back sweet memories of my Amish friends in Missouri north of Columbia. I had the privilege of being called to attend difficult obstetrical deliveries at their homes on occasion. Praise be to the Christ you sing of. We have more in common, as Christians, than we have that separates us. One of our best memories that we have of visiting Lancaster was eating with a family in their home. After the meal, the father, mother and two daughters sang for us. After their song, they asked us Baptist’s to sing for them. We sang “Because He lives”. What a blessed fellowship we experienced!

Beautiful singing. Condolences on your mother’s passing.
Kind regards, from Melbourne, Australia.
How uplifting is this singing! Thank you for sharing this. I lost my mother too, knowing she was longing for the Lord Jesus. I hope that the presence of the Lord will strengthen you in dealing with your loss.
