He was sick with a cold
They had been in warm weather States doing shows, then they came to Maine on the 30th. He probably caught a chill. Poor guy! I feel so bad for him! But the other guys did a great job supporting him.
And he sounded absolutely great on the 30th!
Yikes. Eric being sick sucks, but everything is lacking. No energy. Just dragging. Contemplated going to this show, watching this I’m glad I didn’t..
You’re missing out. One man’s drag is another’s solid tempo and groove.

@@misterreality love me some King’s X. Different groove though. :). Personally, I hate when bands ramp up the tempo live. Both bands are stellar pros.
@@davidhurley5032 I just didn’t feel a good vibe off that Starland show. I’ve seen PG a half dozen times and I don’t know, that energy felt off. That said I’m going to see Vinnie Moore in a few weeks. Hopefully I get the high energy and good vibe there.
@@misterreality interesting. Listening to this and the other shows I’ve been to, if anything, I think these guys are tighter now. Always on fire. PG and Billy never have an off night. That said, I’ve played in bands where either my voice was failing or someone else’s and you’re on edge the entire night, hoping you make it through. To each, his own though. 🤘
Off key, out of tune, drummer ain’t cutting it either.
