This is also why I bought the KLX230S. I live in the foothills and there are forest roads at the ends of so many paved roads. The dirt and gravel leads to beautiful forests, rivers, and creeks. I can leave my house in any direction and hit dirt in less than 10 minutes.
Damn man that sounds badass. Congrats on the new bike and living the best life. I ended up crashing and totaled the bike but I got it on camera. I also have mod videos man. Subscribe and ride safe.
That is dualsport heaven where your at. I bought a 2018 Yamaha XT 250 brand new exactly 2 years ago. I still have and love it. Although, where i live there is no where to ride off road. No trails or dirt roads. I bought the bike just because i always wanted a dualsport even though i am limited to paved roads lol. But i don't care its great to explore back country roads.
Heaven for sure man its in Crescent city Ca. Dual sports are super cool from the looks to the performance. I Almost got a 2019 xt250 but had to go with this. Happy smiles per mile.
I’m about to buy one of these on Tuesday brand new paid in full I can’t wait! I feel like it’s a better choice than the klx250 or crf250l which are really the only other two fuel injected options. I prefer air cooled bike and it makes max power at a much lower rpm than those a other two.
That's how I did it. Paid cash in full no payments. I was looking at the xt250 also. This had all the bells and whistles. 0 miles when I drove off the showroom and about 160 on her now. Love this bike and no regrets.
Guys I'm thinking about buying this bike right now... I like small displacement dual sports. What is the fastest it could get up to on the highway? I know highway is not the best but I have about 10 miles of highway between me and some nice dirt trails
Yeah man its a great bike. I hit 70 on this thing and its pretty smooth. I had to ride it a 100 miles home from the dealership. that was a great break in period. 10 miles gong 65 mph will be nothing. I just did that today for a 6pack of beer. Cheers
Bro it was disappointing but there are ways around it. I heard that's only half empty but I haven't tested it. I have gas can links in the description that work great. Plus on road it's not bad with gas stations along the way. There will be bigger tanks in the near future I suppose. Subscribe if you like I keep up with content.

I have same model & same year bike 2020. Just decided to get the GoPro out, looks like they’ll work well with each other.
Ride safe man
I have this bike and I highly recommend it!

Do you find the gas tank capacity to be limiting for you?
Haha. Yes I do. I carry 2 gas cans in my backpack. 1/4 gallons each and they fit in the cup holder part of my bag on the outside.
How many kms per tank
I get about 50miles before the gas light comes on.
@@jaysonsvisions5024 thats just 80ks per tank... 🙄i dreamed of a long adventure with this bike
