- It's a double dose of Sarah this month as she returns to review something both classic and unique for a Sarah review. High Command blend the aesthetics of Epic Heavy Metal with the sound of Crossover Trash.

The singles they’ve been dropping have got me so excited for this new project. Everything on Southern Lord is immaculate
Top 5 modern Thrash band without a doubt. Riffs and especially vocals are outstanding. Been looking forward to this one.
Now that Power Trip is no more, either Plague Years or Enforced takes the top spot right now.
You must be a rookie? A young kid? or just have the worst taste. Two average albums against so many underrated new school Thrash Metal bands that have 4-6+ Masterpiece albums.
@@sadboi7537Warbringer has the mantle way before Power Trip.
I always love how many samples you give of the music in your reviews!
Cool! Their last album was so good. Just a lot of fun. I somehow missed that this was coming out. Thanks, Sarah!
Listened to it today while working out. I already had their debut on vinyl. I feel like this one is a little more thrashy....I knew the hype. Some really good riffs and Slayer like vibes at some parts. So far it's good. Maybe it will grow on me a bit more as I listen more.
Eternal Nightmare in the background killer album 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Show No Mercy aswell
I am SO HYPE for this record. I had the debut on repeat for several months when it came out. I love the energy and themes this band can create. Gonna play the heeelllll out of this release ❤
Once again thank you Sarah for bringing constant high quality bands!
I just threw my sweatshirt on today and was thinking it's about time they drop a new one. Just purchased it. Can't wait.
Sarah's recs are always 🔥
That scent is definitely kickin'
I wouldn't have given this record a chance if it wasn't for this review. Gonna give both if their records a spin now!
Hell yes, this is a great thrash crossover album. All killer, no filler.
I disagree with the term. This is NOT crossover. At least according to the initial sub-genre description in the '80s.
What an unexpected surprise! It’s ain’t Xmas yet! 🎁 🎅🏿
This band caught me since their debut. A trve bastard child of Slayer and Manilla Road. The keyboards seem more noticeable in this one, I dig that 🤟🏼
Omniscient Flail of Infamy....right at the beginning sounds like a combination of Metallica's "Eye of the Beholder" and White Zombie's "Black Sunshine" (spoken word) and then right before the song gets fast...it's like hearing the same part before Metallica's "Whiplash" before it gets fast. Oh and Riders Of Rohan...oh man if only all their songs were in the same vein as their track "Whispers of the Nameless One"! Ruthless (Gates of Hell) meets early Omen!!!
Great review, loved the debut haven't had a chance to give this a blast yet but sounds like it's going to be another ripper
Good job. I like the way you do this. No shoehorning in shit I'm not here for. Just rock news. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Really, really great review. Excellent work
Killer album. First one was excellent too. One of the best bands out right now.
Old, old, old-school metal dude looking for new bands that actually know their way around good riffs, good melodies, good chugging sections without slipping into numbing 1000mph noisefests. Basically HEAVY CATCHY songs! Any suggestions?
Try Haunt
@@kevinm5957 Thanks, man!👍🏼
Riot City, Traveler, Visigoth, Atlantean Kodex, Magister Templi, Khemmis.
5 for me
Holy Heck it's been a Bit.
Love it
Killer album for sure.
Yo, this album sounds nothing like power trip.
Been listening to this album in it's entirety, every morning before work, since it came out. Fuckin' rules.
Sounds great going to check it out. I was gonna say hope your getting enough sun up there Sara 😜 but your moving..also fire your band you're an awesome singer
🔥🔥🔥
Album of the year for me. Never heard of these guys before. The thrashy grooving is unbelievable.
These guys and Enforced are great but Power Trip was a different animal. Nobody will ever fill that void in Metal. One of the greatest bands ever. RIP Riley.
Absolutely a must-have album. One of the few contemporary bands with personality imo.
Who doesn't love Pizza and Cocaine??
The thrashy boys are back
Lol, nah. Love your hair
Holy crap, please take my money!
Indeed a nice crossover band between thrash and epic heavy metal. Not heavy enough for my taste, yet muched needed innovation in thrash - which is the least innovating of all extreme metal imho!
It has become a trend... There is too much of these bands wearing swords in crossover thrash... Iron Age rip offs... And i love it!
U a,squahin marshmallow
I love this record but I think SpiritWorld's new album, that was released today as well, is better.
I gotta relisten to it again, I didnt really enjoy it on first spin.
Great album reminds me so much of Iron Age The Sleeping Eye.
Actually it reminds me of Iron Age
"Omniscient Flail of Infamy" might actually be the dumbest metal song title I've ever heard. Metal guys: you (or 99.9% of you) aren't poets. Keep it simple.
You make that Dio shirt look really good
Daaaaaaamn !
Love u thank u bye
