After being a motorcyclist for 40 years I bought a Tmax and now I would never go back to a bike..I aspire to owning this very machine..thank you for a great Review. Daniel..United Kingdom
Well sir, you own already one of the best sport scooters out there! The TMax is great and I’d love to ride one and own one too. The only issue I have with the top highend scooters is that the storage is very minimal which is actually one of the main features I want to have when owning a scooter.
I own a C 650 GT since 3 weeks. It is a amazing machine. I traded my BMW 850 for the C 650 and it is quite a difference. So easy to handle. U turns slow riding you name it. Just piece of cake. The acceleration is fantastic and indeed you can drive easily 180 km. So it is fast enough. What I do not like is the sound of the Akrapovic and I am going to put a db killer in it. A weak point is the original windshield. I constantly looked at the edge and of it and it does not look very sturdy so not BMW like...I replaced it with a larger one and that is a lot better. It is a very complete machine very luxury! I owned a Yamaha TMax 500 which I really love but I think it is underpowered because I always ride with a passenger. I had a Suzuki Burgman 650 but it is too heavy and is sluggish and I never trusted the cvt...every 6000 km you have to replace the bolt. I have ridden a couple of motorcycles from 600cc up to 1000 cc but I am done clutching. Riding this bike is really enjoying.
Fabulous review I have ridden all makes and models Vespa BMW Ducati KTM and more - after your review I bought a c650 sport in all my 50 years riding this is exactly what you say it is a great fun and enjoyable ride I love it. Keep up your honest reviews. Thanks and best you. Ross
Thank you, happy you liked it. I’m planing to increase the scooter reviews in 2019, currently searching for dealerships and/or importers who might be interested in video reviews.
you forgetting the gilera gp 800/aprilia srv 850 (the same) 839cc v-twin engine with 80hp, the best of them all. gilera came first in 2007/8 with no traction control or ABS, the aprilia came after in 2012/13 with traction control and ABS. engine is from the Aprilia Mana, only thing they should have done is to let the gearbox system of the Mana, and not going to the CVT ones, but amazing scooters. i had both, and there's nothing that can compare to them. overall great video, and i agree with everything you said.
True, but those are not being anymore and therefore cannot be considered. The biggest scooters available today are the Honda Forza750 or the Yamaha TMax560. It’s a shame, cause I am certain there would be a market for a powerful 750-1000ccm scooter with like 75-100hp!
Fuel consumption was mentioned. Service cost, depends on what needs to be done. I don’t received information like that as it is always individual and depends on how the scooter has been treated!
It’s a different Solution with the flexible helmet compartment. For storing the helmet while not riding ok, but when you want to move some things with you, it’s too small.
@@AutoReviewCom I think that the Sport was sold in 2013, but that was it. I went on a day trip with a guy who had a C 650 Sport that he had got of Kijiji from a dealer in Montreal. As for a scooter market in North America, not really, but this is partly the motorcycle companies fault as there is little advertising or support which is to bad as in large cities, scooters are ideal in terms of agility and storage space.
To be honest yes, not that it would not be manageable, but when someone starts riding I recommend to ride smaller bikes/scooters first for 1-2 years and then upgrade. Though it obviously costs this way much more as you buy and sell two bikes in relatively short time. At the same time I would recommend a used bike as starter.
It is an automatic, but what’s wrong with that? Honestly I think most people feel ashamed to ride scooters because of what „real bikers“ might think about them. It’s pretty stupid, people should ride what they like. That’s why it’s always nice to spend vacation in Italy or France, where maxi-scooters and small scooters are normal and everyone rides them.
Well if you live in a place where they use mph it doesn’t matter, as it is going to be illegal to ride that fast! Topspeed is something only relevant for Germans!
@@AutoReviewCom Top speed is quite relevant on Southern California freeways where nobody obeys the speed limit. You either go with the flow or you place yourself at risk.
Was set to buy one but after testriding a 2019 C650 Sport, I changed my mind. Did not like how it rode. Clumsy, slow to turn, no wind protection for my head even with the screen in top position. Very disappointed.
Problemas desse modelo são um pesadelo. Manutenção 😂😂 mete medo os valores. Motor não é bmw. Problema crónico mais tarde ou mais cedo Problemas de lubrificação das válvulas. Faz partir a cabeça. Despesa posso dizer quase 4000e pediram me na bmw. Enfim...estes reviews não dizem a verdade. Nem dizem os Problemas. Revisões são caríssimas. Aos 40mil tens de mudar um rolamento é o que a marca aconselha. Só esse rolamento com óleo por dentro mudar isso custa 1200e.
Riding a scooter is like being gay. At some point, you just say "fuck you I am what I am" and do your thing. Mind you, I like girls best but ride a Vespa. I feel the pain of the gay man, sort of.

What is consuption.. I ovned versys for 9 years, but I'm done with biker shits, oiling the chain and similar crap..I need something single
How much
Beautiful ride in Switzerland! We must come there some day for a visit. Thank you for the video.
Yes, it’s very nice to ride here during summer with the beautiful landscapes around. Though one must be careful as they are pretty distracting... 😉
Congratulation for your excellent presentation of this beautiful scooter ! At last someone who said something about consumption ! Bravo !
Thanks for the review. I was wondering about its power and comfort and you answered that.
Thanks for your time and your feedback. I’m happy it was helpful.

What's its fuel consumption? I'm dreaming of having a C650 someday.
Thank you, happy you liked it. I’m planing to increase the scooter reviews in 2019, currently searching for dealerships and/or importers who might be interested in video reviews.
I have mentioned it in the review, please watch it again. Cheers
I've just gone from a BMW R1200GS to a Suzuki Burgman AN400 but think the C650GT might be my next bike.
How tall are u ? And weight? I just sold my versys and going back to scooters..
Great review, thanks.
Thanks for watching.
Beautiful review, thank you very much.
Thank you for watching.

I’m 5foot 7inches tall with a 30 inch Inseem is this bike too tall for me or would it be manageable say on the balls of my feet ?
Excellent, but please next time adjust the windshield so we can understand what you say.
I don’t think the sport has the adjustable windshield
You notice he doesn't compare it to the Burgman 650.
So which would you prefer…. C650gt or tmax560?
I haven’t driven the Tmax yet, so no comparison unfortunately.
Fuel consumption?, service prices?
Fuel consumption was mentioned. Service cost, depends on what needs to be done. I don’t received information like that as it is always individual and depends on how the scooter has been treated!
cruise control ?
Unfortunately not!
Buy tmax DX 530 or tmax 560 if u want cruise control
Under seat compartment will fit the biggest of helmets, just put it upside down;)
It’s a different Solution with the flexible helmet compartment. For storing the helmet while not riding ok, but when you want to move some things with you, it’s too small.
@@AutoReviewCom full-face helmet does fit in front part of storage, not only in flexcase part.
I have not seen this model in Tampa, Florida USA
+floridaproductions I doubt it is being sold in USA, but why don't you ask your preferred BMW motorcycle dealership if they could sell it?
The C650GT is available in North America.
Thanks for the information, though I guess it’s only on special offer because there isn’t much of a market for scooters in the US in the first place.

I have a 2016 Sport sold new in California
Power windshield IS an option with this bike.
Might be, but an option is not stock and therefore costs even more...

Great review thank you. Would you consider this to be too much power and weight for a beginner? Thanks for your advice. James

Auto Review Thanks mate, I think the seems like sound advice and I greatly appreciate you getting back to me. Thank you
You are welcome. Ride safe.

Auto Review just blow them away in a drag race. Imagine the shame when they don't even lose to a real bike.
only 100 more kmh from 600cc bigger engine than my 50cc. lol
Cars are driven, bike are ridden.
Correct, but only in the English language, cause in German we make no difference.
I'd like to have one.
Me too, would make the ride to work more enjoyable.
Lol its a very good bike BMW 600cc sport 👌
Only 100 MPH? My Burgman 650 goes up to 115 and has less HP!
The correct figures are 180 kph = 111.8 MPH . However both scooters have great top speed if you can legally claim
What happens when a cruiser has sex with a big scooter? BMW C650 Sport
Sorry I meant "a scooter does it to a cruiser" ha ha

Hello
What do you think about the C 650 gt ? I'm thinking about buying one and I need an opinion from an 650 gt owner !
Thanks
meaning the C650 Sport was clumsy and slow to turn..? or other bike..? what about the TMax is it more easy and fun to ride..?

It’s more a problem for non-scooter riders. Especially in south of Europe it’s totally normal and the cooks guys ride Tmax530 and maxi-scooters.
