  • The new Netflix docuseries "Depp v. Heard" dives into the social media impact of last year's high-profile defamation trial between Johnny Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard. Access Hollywood's Zuri Hall exclusively sits down with Legal Analyst Camille Vasquez, who was a member of Depp's legal team. The attorney shares her take on the docuseries and shares her insight on some of the most notable moments in the trial. "Depp v. Heard" is streaming on Netflix now.

    That docu did not cross examine Amber's claims like it did with Johnny. No mention of the infamous audio, glossing over the claims of assault that have been shown as weird /inconsistent... it was a pity party for Amber as an icon of victims. Which is why people were so mad at her : she might have been a victim too, but the fact that she abused Johnny, ran to medias to put herself in that icon place, for us to see that at the end of the day she was just as abusive or more than him is just......

  • @TheLily97232

    That docu was three episodes of "actually, Amber lost because society is biased against women, not because she lied and covered her part in the abuse". There's literally a clip calling her an imperfect victim.... and little mention of that audio

    Camille made all the difference in the world exposing the vicious lies that hurt Depp in a profound and despicable way. It reminds me of "the worst batterer ever seen in my county." Hand injuries, gaslighting, perjury, employment sabotage, fabricated evidence, contempt, acting, mislead witnesses...
    People do not understand how these dark triad people operate. We do not understand how the perpetrators manipulate their victims, devalue them, discard them and then hoover. In the midst of it you are outraged at the gullibility of the court, how their smear campaign wriggles into every aspect of your life.

  • @drinkallthesunshine

    She conveniently doesn’t get asked about the text log that for whatever reason was admitted into evidence that showed Johnny did in-fact assault or kick Amber on a plane and how Amber’s texts weren’t even mad, but more like “that isn’t the real Johnny, if he was in the right state of mind and knew what he did, he’d be appalled…” or something to that effect. I’m really curious why that text was not submitted into evidence by Ambers defense.
    It really makes me believe their both toxic people. Amber gets with people to get ahead, Johnnys an addict and alcoholic and that can lead to unpredictable behavior, but more so hurting himself rather than daily heat downs of Amber. And Amber strikes me as the type of vengeful person, I mean she crapped on his bed… But she strikes me as someone who can be irritable very easily and lead to violent or dramatic outbursts.

    • @williac31
      @williac31 8 місяців тому

      Amber's team didn't want Deuters to testify. That's why it wasn't admitted. It didn't prove she was right, just that they placated her-it is really hard to kick someone in the back who is standing up when you are sitting down.

    It's sad how everyone is supporting Johnny Depp. I'm sure Amber was a victim at least once, maybe she exaggerated In court to defend herself, anyone in this position will do the same, if she only says " he slapped me once" he will not be seen as an abusive man so she's most likely to lose the case
    People need to understand that when a person is alcoholic, drunk and high every single day, he's not the same person, why do you think she filmed him once while he was drunk and breaking stuff in the kitchen? Maybe he got sober over time but I guarantee he's not what he seems to be in front of the cameras, he's an actor and he knew he was filmed, he acted like a calm and kind man
    When someone is drinking every day he is not the same person and he forgets to respect the other person, flirts around, lies, becomes distant and the relationship is not as it was anymore,
    Only people who were in that kind of relationship can understand, it's my case
    Domestic abuse is domestic abuse it doesn't matter if the victim was slapped once and recovered 2 hours later or if the victim needed medical assistance, domestic abuse can be verbal, physical and sexual
    They are both hiding maybe a lot of things but I'm sure Amber is not 100% lying, trying to make it more dramatic in front of the judge maybe but not lying
    Yes maybe she cannot control her emotions, gets angry fast and screams and throws things but that's because he is giving her reasons,
    Of course, because he's richer and more famous and he acts like a super kind person people will support him more but people forget that a trial for the same reason took place in the UK and she won it
    I've been in a relationship with a guy exactly like Johnny and he was pissing me off daily for millions of reasons, of course, I started to fight and then he also became violent, and then, he gets sober and played the role of a perfect guy that people would not ever expect from him to be aggressive and insulting me
    + Don't forget Johnny is an actor.
    Stop thinking he is perfect and stop considering Amber heard the worst person in the world

    • @imjusthereforthecomments4920
      @imjusthereforthecomments4920 8 місяців тому +1

      She didn't "win" the UK case because she is not the one who brought the suit. And the problem with her is after she got caught in the first lie no one could believe anything she said. Seems as if she wanted a bigger payday than her divorce got her. Did she ever pay the money she "pledged?"

    • @cristianrusu8521
      @cristianrusu8521 8 місяців тому +1

      Well I think she said that because people are jealous And she didn't want anyone to think about it like " look, she was suited for domestic abuse and she still has that big divorce settlement, it's unfair she doesn't deserve it , she should give it back "
      Or , if she was the one who accused him first people would say that she lied just for getting that money so it was better for her to just say like " I donated it, I don't have it anymore so leave me the f*ck alone"
      I'm not a fan of her, I didn't really know who she was honestly I just saw the trial and recognized her from a movie that I saw a long time ago I think it was called never back down or something, after seeing a little bit of what's going on I knew what kind of guy is johnny depp, exactly like my ex and everyone supported him and everyone was blaming that woman , including her innocent daughter.
      People don't know what exactly happened between them first of all and just because they watched all movies with johnny depp doesn't mean they know him , and the way he acted in court doesn't mean he was always like that either.
      It's unfair for a woman to be blamed like that and I'm sure there are some true things in what she said

Also the fact that she's toxic and abusive as well.... these are two very broken toxic people. The fact that she gets all the pity and love, gets to be a hero when she herself is a perpetrator, is disgusting to me. Why would her abuse deserve more compassion than what Johnny suffered ?
