So far we have no reason to believe that they attacked officers, I have only been given a reason to believe that the officers attacked civilians and so that is what we are discussing. If the police want us to discuss what the civilians did they need to release that evidence. It would not change anything in this case though as this is still a clear case of assualt regardless of what happened prior.

I did not feel distressed. I felt relieved, knowing justice at least this once, is being served... knowing what happened to many 1000s of girls, in the UK, where no protection was being given.

Those thugs broke a woman officers nose and behaved in such disgusting ways the officer went out of control. Bodycam or airport CCTV will put things to bed. The fact the kicking is shown but not the video of the assault on the police is raising suspicion of their story.

The officer clearly lost his cool and crossed the line. That being said, the bodycam footage being shown isn't complete. Apparently a lot of things happened before the footage being shown, e.g. female officer's nose was broken, and other officers attacked. There's also an unconfirmed claim that one of the suspects tried to grab a gun. Not saying what the officer did was justified, but context is key, and we're not being shown the preceding content.
