Glad you made it home without incident - well apart from drenching poor Max and sitting on the tarmac for 90 minutes. My trip back in June didn’t go smoothly. I ended up staying an extra day. Thankfully had really good trip insurance that coverage all expenses for trip delays/interruptions. Got refunded everything within 8 days of being home. Also filed a claim with BA. They acknowledged it and once a week I get an email “we are still working on it”. It is now coming up to 12 weeks.
That was a really nice looking plane inside, probably the only one I haven’t been on, the 350, I did get a little woozy watching the front wheel during takeoff, lol, I’m not a great flyer, but never let that stop me from travelling.. Thanks for taking us along on your journey home, xx
Thank you both for a great video !! We were flying home to Orlando in 2018 from Halifax, NS Canada but because of a bad storm we had to fly back to the hub in Toronto !! You never know with the Florida weather what to expect !!
Really enjoyed this thank you. Things have changed so much since we last flew from Manchester to Orlando so it’s good to see if we manage to get back again! I’d definitely consider staying at hotel and doing the early bag drop. So much less stress flying day!😊
@@ThemeParkBazzayes, but when you’re paying for two weeks in Disney and universal it’s a bit extra for less stress. Definitely worth it I think! I’ve just also realised I don’t have to do motorways to the airport because of your video too. We had similar when leaving MCO. In July (Back to uk) after we boarded a storm started and ground operations stopped (understandably) and it was 2 hrs before we pushed back.
Next time in manchester airport if youve got time you should take a walk to the airport pub situated at the end of the runway..About 10 mins walk from the terminal
Loved this video, I was gutted on our flight I couldn’t find where to see the plane gear stuff on the screen spent ages then watching this and you had it on 😡 We was in Florida May and had 12 beautiful days until travel home day. We were delayed at the airport as all ground crew were grounded as we had a bad thunderstorm ⛈️ and lightning ⚡️ we were about 1hr 30 before taking, late landing at Heathrow and then ferry to isle of with it was a nightmare. Virgin food was ok better as we were premium but we caught covid on the flight going as the day or so after arriving we tested positive so lost 6 day but still managed to shop and had 5 bags. Hi Guys Great vlog as usual loved watching your UK vlogs. Glad you had a safe flight home apart from the wait on the aircraft which was unavoidable. Looking forward to your next vlogs love from a very young 67 year old 😂ha! Ha! Xx
Great video, a bit weird leaving sunny Manchester and arriving in rainy Orlando, it’s normally the other way round. We stayed in the Radisson Blu in March this year and thought it was really good, paid for one night stay and 15 days parking.
I remember a time we were flying into Heathrow, and were kept in a holding pattern, i felt ill, luckily i didn’t 🤢, well looking forward to the house renovation updates Barry and Maxine xx
We stayed at the new Holiday Inn in April, amazing location for any terminal, we was 1 & just walked the blue walkway. We ate in the Turkish restaurant & the food was fantastic. We did get our nights stay free! The hubby uses IHG hotels regularly so acquires points 😊 plus we got a free drink each 👍🏻 would definitely stay again, really clean & the staff were great 😊
I Love that song "ride into the night" great choice, another fantastic video and welcome back home to Florida. Brown sauce I couldn't drink that stuff LOL Nothing better than a Full English Breakfast it's a must.
Not too bad of a return trip (apart from the wait at the end), but things seemed to go pretty smoothly, and way better than the non existent service to Japan! Too bad about the duty free though. You`re seasoned travelers though which helps. Thanks for the UK vlogs I`ve really enjoyed them.
The service was far superior to the American Airlines experience to Japan , you really have to go with the flow and not stress, even when I start throwing drinks around :-)
Yeah, we had issues at both ends with our Virgin flight in July. Outbound from Manc. 4 hrs late leaving and on departure day we were boarded in realty good time only to get out to the taxi way to be told we could not take off for 45 minutes. So we parked up and turned the engines off, luckily they kept the AC running. Enjoyed the blogs guys as usual. Baileys eh?😏
When we have to fly virgin, we always get sandwiches etc, before boarding, because the food is usually disappointing, and we’ve never found anything left at the snack bar
Blokes from Stoke got trapped on the tarmac for their last trip for an hour, you had an hour and a half, that would be like torture. By the time you've landed you just want to get off that plane. Good to be home I'm sure
It was not great but look at the fact we were in the AC , sat down , with a TV to watch it was not that bad. Only the fact they would not let anyone use the bathroom for the first hour until parents started complaining for their kids and they relinquished and turned off the seatbelt sign
We had the same thing of landing in a storm. They had to change the flight path so that we went over the Bahamas as the storm was that big! Then waiting on the plane at MCO for a while but we were ordered to close the blinds for comfort so no lightning watching 😢
