    This must have taken you ages. The idea of the map was amazing and so valuable. You are one of the few people that has made so much sense on how to plan out a zoo. Being a visual person, this has helped me tremendously, thank you so much!! I now feel confident to have a go at a complete zoo.

      It did take a while but I quite liked doing it! Glad it all seemed to make sense and was a good way of doing it :)

      Agreed! Ingenious and so considerately presented. Long video but somehow so concise :) brilliant video

    The map you created as an example is amazing. Loved it.
    One thing I always wanted to know is the backstage areas. All of 'em. But mostly the dorms. I kinda have ideas, but I don’t want ideas, I want details 😂

      So glad to hear that, took a while to make so I'm happy to hear it looks good! I'll definitely be getting round to animal housing at some stage, but it's a very big topic that I still haven't quite figured how best to do it for the series! This video has made me completely reconsider how I've been building my zoos so far. Especially the filler areas make your layout so much more beautiful than what I've been doing so far. Thanks a bunch! Also, I highly appreciate your presentation technique Planet Zoo style

    This is fantastic! I've also worked in husbandry in a zoo and these are all the things I think about when playing Planet Zoo. Thank you!

    Thanks for the insight, something I love about playing these games is all the small tidbits you get to learn once you get into the subject

    I really feel like this video game me a much more solid understanding of how a zoo should/could look. Thank you very much! :)
    I have my own tip: When planning, zoom all the way out and up and paint with terrain-tool where you want your stuff.

      Glad you found it useful! I do the same thing when planning by using terrain painting too! Definitely helps visualise stuff properly :)

      The terrain planning is a great idea!

    Odense Zoo in Denmark has a special kind of External arrangement of enclosures. They have a public path going through the african section, between lions and savanah, with guest bridges above the public path. You can actually walk through that part of the zoo on just a normal walk.

    Another great episode, Bongo. The effort you put into these is phenomenal!
    Surroundings can be so important sometimes to the feel of a zoo. Barcelona comes to mind, where you can be sitting on a bench watching the lions and the cityscape is visible behind them. And Tiergarten Schonbrunn in Vienna, which is part of the formal gardens of the castle. Both of these zoos have quite a different feel on arrival as a result.

      Thank you! I'm glad all my planning and effort shows :D Definitely, such different vibes can be created without anything being done in the zoo itself! A lot more effort but maybe worth it for some people :)

    Thanks alot. You helped me alot to decide how to build my zoos. I prefer a more realistic Nd educanional approach. Not a fan of the theme park like zoo they have in america.
    Thank you sir. 👍🐧😎

    I have a question in Planet Zoo i can recreate my local zoo? Its Barcelona Zoo

    • @Deerhunter60641
      @Deerhunter60641 3 роки тому

      Depends on the size and the game might not have some animals but you could if it fits the map if you want to do it 1-1 scale

    • @BongoHardwood
      @BongoHardwood  3 роки тому

      Do you mean can I recreate it or are you asking if you are able to?
