Advice If you find pal spheres keep them to sell to merchants, buying isn't technically cheating either and from black marketeers can sometimes have some overpowered pals or even small versions of bosses
The more you play Palworld, the more you realize it's just Ark lite. Look at the cover art for Palworld and Survival Evolved. It's basically identical. It's if ark met Pokemon. I love it so much.
I can appreciate the base as something only a non-builder could think up 😂 probably the strangest base I’ve seen in this game yet (that’s a compliment)
Re your second base: The stair based support is really cool, I like that part a lot -- the topper could use a bit of a redesign for looks (though it does look functional, so points for that). Overall I would say 3.5/5 - keep it up! :)
I might try this but maybe give a better chance with a tweak to the hatching rule. One egg a day, when it was bred. Otherwise, 3 eggs a day to keep the rate of getting pals low, but still possible
You should have used your saddles in the faleris battle, it lets you use all there moves and then jump off and they can do them again with no cool down time, also azurobe gives your guns water damage while riding. Could have been an easy fight
Fun video and a nice twist on the eggs only / captured pals only challenge, just eliminating the spheres - it only truly excludes the legendaries, who are basically endgame bosses anyways. I do agree with others that the one egg a day rule was unneeded. The cold hard truth of it? You ideally need condensed and skilled pals to beat those final towers. I’ve also discovered 100 days seems to be too short for everyone I’ve watched so far, so 125-150 is probably better if you’re on hard mode. Saaaaaying that, the challenge makes it difficult, but what settings did you have on? It cannot be the game’s set hard mode for various reasons, which can be misleading by the title. I assume exp x 20 (you get approx 20-40k exp for beating the endgame alphas normally, you got 200k, instantly levelling 1s to 40s in-team) and item multiplier x 3. I can add time stamps if anyone wants me to prove it, but the big giveaway was the alpha sweepa dropping 18x wool, 24 ancient civilisation parts, etc. The last thing that I’m GLAD you changed is the egg hatch rate. If anyone doesn’t know (or I suppose it could’ve been a super recent patch) huge eggs in hard mode normally take a base 24 FULL IN-GAME hours to hatch, and they can’t be brought down as low as two hours, which is the hatch rate set to 1. I’d like to say that I do not condemn these changes AT ALL, the hard mode exp rate is 0.8 and is so stupidly slow it hurts to look at, especially on a timed challenge. It’s needless grind. I personally don’t enjoy a huge amount of grind, the resource gathering at a base 1 rate or higher is satisfying enough for me once you get a system going. Adjusting things to make them more convenient is not a sign of “worse skills” it’s called making time in your life for other shit. (The only other thing is I’m not sure if, considering you would’ve been on custom settings, the stupid hard mode damage multipliers were in affect. I’ve noticed hard mode players getting two-shot by the final bosses, even with the appropriate defences, just bc the damage to player is so high). I enjoyed the challenge and man, no flyer until day 63 was brutal to watch. That and I’d never have had the heart to butcher my pals, so mad props to your commitment. Good luck on your future content! Might have to check out your other 100 days :)
Props for such a detailed comment ^_^ I call it hardcore as its a common term for 1 life So exp rate changes throughout the run. I knew without catching pals. The grind would just be boring to watch me kill thousands upon thousands of pals. So i started at 2x, then every 10 days, I increased it (To keep a steady pace vs power leveling early on) I think it ended at 10x, but may have been 15x Hatch rate was 1x I think, so it took 6mins for normal, 20 for large and 1h20 for Huge. Not quite 2h as I had the cold/hot buffs to speed it up) yeah the butchering was rough. The day Pixel died, I was genuinely sad xD and I STRUGGLED to get a flyer. A friend doing a similar challenge got one in like 10 days lol Damage multipliers I had as 1x across the board. I don't like changing the difficulty of things in that way. I am happy to make grinds/waiting easier. But the actual damage things I'll never adjust (Exception being some mods where the default they ask you to change, more common in ark)

Oh boy. Finding a flyer is NOT going swiftly 😂 My ideal bird will eventually be a Ragnahawk, but those will spawn as like level 40?? So?? Gonna hope for a Vanwyrm before day 100 💀 Other than that it’s fairly fun, helps you feel more attached to the pals you do get. (The only other way I’ll be allowed to get pals, I’ve decided, is if I breed two luckies, and if their offspring has the lucky trait on it, I can breed that with a respective lucky. It’ll make getting a variety of the best passives NOT easy like a normal play through). Other than that I’m only allowing myself to catch regular extras of a pal ONLY for condensing. The butchering, man 😭 Yeah, I feel for ya there. Personally for a hardcore or Nuzlocke-kinda run, I’d keep the pals in a viewing cage just so they don’t have to perish forever. It’d kill me inside. Yeah Ark survival, its the game I've got the most content and hours on. Ark isn't the most beginner friendly. It's also not a game I'm really recommending in it's current state. Got a lot of issues atm

You really don't have to badger your pals after their incapacitated, you just got to wait 10 minutes and then wait a tiny bit longer for them to heal up and then they'll be perfectly fine (if you didn't badger them)

There should be a part two were you finished the game in over 100 days Quick question if you die and lose all your pals on team, can they be used again or would they have to be badgered
I know you have done something similar in the past but what if you do another ark 100 days but every time you die you donate to a charity of your choice like a cancer research organization or a children's hospital you can even put a link in the description to the charity and for another twist to the 100 days itself how about instead of one overhaul mod you do 2 and maybe even try out AsA overhaul mods
For the tutorial. In hindsight, I didn't need to unlock it. But I mainly wanted to have the tutorial in the top right disappear. I didn't know there was a craft one portion of it as well
