I was 23 years, 9 months, 3 days. I’m 60 years, 8 months, 11 days now. This was recorded 36 years, 11 months, 9 days ago from today January 2, 2021. I have a boring life.
Omg she is so adorable. I had the biggest crush on her. She sent me 2 autographed pictures. They were my prized possession until someone stole a bunch of my stuff. 🥺😢😢
Just as she hoped for when she was interviewed for Prom Night, to be in a quiet love story movie where she can express her feelings with small gestures, here face... restrained, subdued. Great for her!
She was the first choice for the movie she mentions she watched on the plane, Heart Like a Wheel. Not sure why she didn't do it or why she didn't mention she should've been in it.
Porfle Popnecker I had a Fangoria subscription for a lot of years. I heard they “went under” but are making comeback. Not the same magazine without all the old writers and contributors. Always loved The Eye of Dr Cyclops. What issues were your letters printed? (The Postal Zone!)💀🎃🎃🎃💀💀💀🎃
I don't understand Letterman's question to Tony Curtis, "Is she still steamed at us?" She didn't seem to take any offense at all regarding what Letterman said to her. Could someone explain to me what she was "steamed" about?
Only 27 there and so much more mature and poised than most 27 year olds today. Her voice isn’t like Minnie Mouse... like so many female voices her age today. The culture today is devolving
Yes, I remember women's blazers having massive shoulder pads in the mid-'80s. I think the wider shoulders were supposed to create the illusion that their waist was slimmer, but to me it just made them look as though they were wearing football pads beneath their clothes. It was a very strange time in America.
She explains that the film clip has Bud Cort who co-starred in Harold and Maude! Also, 1984 resurgence of the retro look of padded shoulders looked great at her entrance, but don't do as well in seated position for the drape of the material. Hmmn.
Either she's bad at math, or she just admitted to lying about her age, cause she said her mother made Psycho in 1961 and that "I must have been 4" when it was released. Well, she is listed as being born in November 1958, so she couldn't have been 4, unless she were born earlier. By the way, Psycho is actually listed as a 1960 film. Regardless, she's brilliant!
This was on my 16th birthday. I have just turned 51. Life flys by so quickly.
I can't think of a witty user name Dyslexic Doesn’t it? I was 4 and now I’m 39.
jaquen1977 I was 0 now I’m 19

Jamie looks so much like her Dad, I meet her Father Tony back in the *80ths when he was Filming a Movie.

Janet Leigh is her mother.
I love Jamie. I know every Film from her. Scream queen

Dave mispronounced Ray Manzarek's name. But Jamie looks radiant.
I always love Jamie Lee Curtis, seen her in Trading Places, A Fish Called Wanda and True Lies she was very sexy in that movie.
Larry "Bud" Melman skit at the end!! Yes!!
Jamie Lee Curtis is Baroness Haden-Guest, but she says she has nothing to do with that title. Her husband is Baron Haden-Guest.
I remember seeing Love Letters on cable when I was 15. She was definitely top less in alot of the scenes. 🤩
Fap to it? I did.
Ive never seen the movie.lol
Her body was incredible

Apparently she's upset he mentioned she's topless a lot in the movie she's plugging, "Love Letters".
This was 1 day before I turned 🖐🏿years old
Wow 40 years! Larry 'Bud' Melman!
God those SHOULDER PADS.
Laura Willoughby 1984, height of fashion. 😊
Was she talking about Pat Benatar!??
I dunno why Dave thought she was "steamed". It seemed to end perfectly amiably to me.

facts
Since this is January 1984 and her birthdate is 11/22/1958 that makes her 25 actually. Folks always making some generalized dig at a group..
Lol, how times have changed. They blanked out the word "pissed off"!?! 😂
5:56 best part
Does someone have love letters l need to see this
2:45 nice shoulder-me-pads, Jamie.

That time period, everything had shoulder pads
She explains that the film clip has Bud Cort who co-starred in Harold and Maude! Also, 1984 resurgence of the retro look of padded shoulders looked great at her entrance, but don't do as well in seated position for the drape of the material. Hmmn.
I ask Tony to take a Photo with my wife when he was making a Movie, he stop look at me and walk away.
1:17 what's with that shirt, Dave?
That was cutting edge fashion in 1985.
@@nazur72 Sure, with a pair of Dockers, at a sports bar, but Dave always wore a suit and tie on his, for lack of better words, talk show.
The laughing sure stopped pretty quick didn't it?
It is hard to look at Dave. He is funny looking!!! 😂 😂 i to am from Indy!!! 05/07/19.
I thought Tony was Harvey Fierstein at first.
Who's that?
I was negative seven when this aired
Don’t give away your age😆😁
Mr. Larry's Toast on a Stick "ahhahhahhahaha...ahhahahahahhaha..." I'd forgotten how demented (in all the best possible ways) that show could be...
There’s a compilation elsewhere on this channel.
Which by the way I gave my Boots up so the double could use it in the Movie that Tony was doing but can't remember the Name of the Movie.
I love how awkward and real interviews were back then, everything now seem overly happy and fake.
She really was great - she used to model pantyhose. And no wonder...her legs were fabulous.
her feet were fabulous too,and when she looked like this i wanted to smell her feet
@@vintri8 that's messed up.... seriously
@Gianni Pizza yeah it is..it's friggin gross
She doesn’t look like her parents I don’t think anyhow
a bit like her mum, nothing like Tony !
Remember the time when women’s clothing used to be classy af, especially on tv shows?
😍😍
The interaction just seemed so awkward
Was she high? lol
yup
It was the 80s a lot of people got high back then.
Most everyone else was in '84, so why not her?
Was he high? Lolls.
Her and her dad did some blows back in the day

oh, she was one year out. Terrible!!
I bet you work for the IRS
Thats one year off what does it matter.
She said when it was released, not when it was made
Really ? So she was off by one year. Where does that matter ? The horror. Imagine that.
He totally ruined her buzz....not cool😸
What a cutie....
She looks like Camile Paglia in that suit. I'll bet Camile likes her.
Smokin' woman.
Was she on her Vicodin here?
Vicodin came later around the time of Halloween H20. Back in the 80s it was qualudes and coke.
Look at her natal chart she was a natural goofy eccentric lady
I think there was mutual attraction!
Years later she comes out and plants a kiss on him and he leans her back then she slowly presses against him. Definitely something there
She's a mess.
Those shoulder pads, ugh. That outfit is making her look like Beetlejuice when his head is shrunk.
From the beginning she is strangely goofy.
Best era.. duh
