Nice video bro! I’ve wanted to get my hands on this to add to my truck but the price point man 😬. Would truly be beneficial. Did they send this to you or you pick up yourself? The DG8 is nice to because it resets man. Airflow is the biggest issue we deal with and most overlooked for sure 👍🏻
Hey thanks a lot man! Yeah the company I work for was kind enough to get it for my van per my request. It is a really sweet rig, it really opens up a whole new dimension on how I approach service calls and troubleshooting. It feels like it's been a missing piece to the troubleshooting puzzle. Are dg-8s an awesome stand-alone manometer as well. Its Rock Solid even at lower Pascal readings. I definite feel more confident in the ego over my Fieldpiece joblink manometers.
Yeah it is a pretty cool instrument, try vane anometer to start with, I've tested against my testo 510i a few times and they're pretty close. The only thing is you have to practice with the testo though to make sure you consistent with your Traverse.
Yeah I'llbe making some more videos on this. I've actually got a couple other videos covering already check out my playlist for air flow. I've got one coming up where I'm comparing the true flow against the Testo 420!
I swear I hear a unprimed trap or some vibration never seen it but wonder if positive pressure on upflow evap drain is installed too deep into the pump making air bubbles in the tank
You right airflow is the most underrated area of HVAC. Love the video.
Thanks!
Very nice test setup. Would like to have this done at my house ! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks alot!
This is really cool man. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome thanks for watching!
Thanks bro.
No problem thanks for watching!

@@HVACTechKnowledgy man that is sweet! Good company there. I’ll have to speak with my employer tomorrow 🤔 lol. Good stuff!
Hey it never hurts ask lol.
“Ain’t nobody got time for that”. Lmao 😂
I would love to have that. Like you said price is really high and I'm not buying it and I'm sure my employer isn't spending the money.

That’s a high supply plenum static. Ducts too small or vents closed?
Undersized supply plenum in ductwork...
You have a necked down transition into a hard 90 into another hard 90 on the supply. The transition sets it all up.
Appreciate the video
Your welcome! Glad you enjoyed it. Do you do much airflow measurement in the field?
@@HVACTechKnowledgy I do. Not so much on commercial because for the most part they already have a magna helic on them, but in residential definitely.
