I think most people have absolutley no concept of how next level this build is and that it was all done in a time frame that should not have been possible! Your team and all of the companies you have brought in are really on a completely different level of quality. True craftsmen.
I think everyone knows. Old cleta said it himself this build ain't worth shit on UA-cam without drama. You think they are struggling to get the cars down the track?
@ausdude121 lol, you're a perfect example of the kind of person who has no idea the caliber and time frame of this build! I've spent the vast majority of my life in fabrication, and I can tell you from personal experience this is impressive on every level. I've raced and built everything from drag cars to flattrack race bikes and everything in between. UA-cam has nothing to do with my comment, it's purely based off build quality and time frame. If you think you're above this level, let's see your accomplishments.... I'll wait.
@@laingen_b you are a perfect example of a simple person who does not read the comment properly. My whole life is fabrication. Not once did I mention anything about the build quality. Read the comments correctly or I will lay a vertical up on your chin. You are not ready to see my work.
Love the way you guys are doing your videos now. It’s great to see lots of content coming from the team out of everyone. Can’t wait to see just what comes in the next few builds
Before watching this channel, all I knew about drag racing was that "car go faster than other car wins" but this channel has made me fall in love with the sport and I have learned so much about it since.
For a car off the trailer basically and then go 5's is a major step Having said that, however, to be competitive with a new car that has made a handful of passes in the company of the cars at WCF is a pipe dream. You are stacking against guys that have been testing and tuning for at least the past year to be there and some are 1/4 to almost half a second quicker and have 20-30mph on you, you can put up a show but unless you get very lucky, will not cut it in the eliminations. I reckon next year, with testing and rebuilding the hemi 1 or 2 times this year, and getting the amazing car you and your team put together, Cleetus will be there in front and a serious force to be reckoned with. Congrats to all for an extremely good showing for an off the trailer car......
You have some true craftsman at your company. I hope you are getting some young guys in there so they can pass their vast knowledge on. We need to keep hand craftsmanship alive.
You guys have built a great car, it only needs one thing, a hook for Cleet to hang the steering wheel at the end of run. After every pass he doesn't know where to put it. Everything else you guys have thought off and the support at WCF has been phenomenal.
Started following you all because of Cleetus and the Eagle build. You guys brought it, all of your employed are top notch in what they do. Looking forward to following more builds from you. Fine , fine work.
My goodness, that is one beautiful race car. I’m not sure if I would race it if I owned it or just sit down and look at it nonstop. The CJRC team is top notch talent, and that’s an understatement. Excellent work guys.
GREAT Job CJR! You have a GREAT team working with you, I would say working for you, but they enjoy their job to much! Very talented team and also the installers from other companies that help you build these cars, just incredible!! Congrats!
As a racer with a collection on concussions (~7 or 8), my friendly suggestion is to get some real sfi padding in that funny car cage. It’s small, light, and dense. It can save your life, or save your brain for the rest of your life, and costs a few ounces.
I know you aren’t going to be cause racers are stubborn and it’s not cool. It’s not like football or skateboarding where you’ll be more cautious because you don’t want to get hurt. Racecars will hurt you, and they don’t care what you do.
It must be such a great feeling delivering these insane machines to customers and seeing their reactions after all the hard work from you and your team! Well done CJRC!!
Love everything about it ... Simply a killer build, a compelling view all the way thru. But, as an old Dude however, I'd like to see it with the rear end raised up a bit.
Yall did great brotha. Not much seat time or data but to make it to the race much less almost lay the hammer down on the number 1 qualifier in the second round is legendary! Keep it up brotha!
I know people expect this thing to be running 5s straight out the trailer. But real one know how much goes into getting these cars dialed. You guys nailed this.
Im curious how the trapspeed a with fully closed underbelly would increase. It surely it would take a little bit of engineering and testing to make it work with the 4 link suspension but still, especially since the open rear axle definitely creates some positive pressure below the car :)
Yeah, I thought for sure they meant Eagle was finished at World Cup. Last Cleetus posted they were working on the engine... then a video saying it was finished. Darn near had a heart attack.
I have to admit I'm totally surprised that after all of the racing they've done that they don't know that that engine requires maintenance between each run. I can't believe they didn't pull the valve covers off at least. At any rate they're learning. CJ race cars for the win. You guys literally knocked it out of the park. Now get deep up in their ass and teach them how to use that car and how to treat it. Love your content it's some of the best!
Wow guys...yall really exceeded everyone's expectations coming off the trailer ready to qualify for world cup. I like everyone else has seen world cup and some of the eagle issues but nothing yall couldve done to change any of that and i like many other people are just super proud of you and the whole cjrc team. I just learned of yall from cleetus but will be staying to see what yall build next. I think you need a badass racecar to do some content with, not a 5 sec car but maybe an awd truck.
Great job guys, seriously. Your hard work and sleepless nights paid off big time. I hope you guys get a little break and maybe a vacation after this one. Can't wait to see what's next.
The eagle is ridiculous, the builds out of CJRC are top-notch. After seeing Prenup, The Yeti, and now Eagle, Cameron's crew and the channel should be, and are top players in the drag racing cars in the world.
You all made the right call at World Cup playing it safe . You all could have gone reckless and go for mid 5s but that would have been dangerous . 7 runs in is way to early for trying for radial world records and that's what would be necessary to win this year . Even the fastest cars at world cup knew Eagle was way within it's capabilities . Cameron knows we ain't seen anything close to the capabilities of this car yet that's why he always has that smirk
I watched you and the guys build this car. Fantastic job and I truly appreciate your attention to detail. And the thing went straight down the track . Beautiful race car.
Congrats to the whole CJRC crew on building on of the most beautiful and just awesome racecars. Can't say enough good about the car or the builders. Like Mickey D's I'm loving it
Been following WCF since Eagle was delivered to McFarland Racing, yet here I am watching CJRC’s video of the same delivery 😂 Can’t get enough of this car 😍 Next on the to do list has got to be Seagull guys, it just makes sense for you to get a reward for your sensational efforts. Cheers 🍻🍻🍻🇦🇺
What an incredible achievement! For the builders this was a sprint that must have felt like a double marathon. 😅. This car is state of the art function in the form of inspired art. Leonardo DaVinci would be proud.
You should have the air brush guy, air brush some exterior door handles on Eagle. With all the other little details that would be awesome. The car looks absolutely amazing CJRC
You guys did a great job on this build. First week away from the shop and the body is damaged and the motor got tore up . Looks like the guys are on the usual learning curve. Hopefully they get some kind of game plan together
I am no expert, but this seems to be an amazing accomplishment with everything working so well out of the chute against a crazy deadline. Congratulations. At this time I have seen a few preview videos of World Cup. Again, crazy to be doing first test passes at World Cup where it made a credible showing without any development on the track.
Damned fine job! Eagle did great for the first time out. Kudos to you and your entire team at CJRC!! Keep putting out those videos this old man is hooked. 🤙
This car is blowing UP the internet!!! Well done CJRC!!!
And its driver's window. Oopsie! You're supposed to blow the OTHER guy's doors off, Cameron. But DAMN, that is a beautiful car.
@@ronjones-6977 damnit troy! 😂
This car in person is truly stunning!!! The super subtle copper pearl is icing on the cake!!
You are correct, this Hotrod is Blowing up. That also comes with added pressure to Every Single Business that has parts on this car.
Its got a grand total of 1 mile on it and its already had the heads off for a bent valve.....thats racin.

Came with Cleetus stayed because of Craftsmanship and Knowledge 💪🏼👍🏼💪🏼
Same here brother!! Can, Danny, Troy, Taylor, look at the talent.
100%
Same. I'm here for the long haul.
What an awesome racecar! I love Zacks reaction to the built-in tow points.
Was waiting for the 40 year guy's, "ain't no way "
I was reading your comment same time Zack noticed.
@MichaelNowell724 I'm just glad I'm not the only one who actually reads comments. So many just say the same things over and over.
Cleetus and his crew are quickly finding out that this engine requires a LOT more maintenance in between rounds.
5.88 @ 246
They probably shoulda been lashing the SMX every pass too
@@doctorb.5893 They bent a valve the run before because they did not check the lash between runs. Growing pains.
@@sleepysteeit’s not an smx

She hit the 5's but even more important (imo) she tracked straight and true. Congratulations to the entire CJ team, hell of a build Gents!
Watching form the Uk, this has been amazing,
One hell of a car! Such a huge accomplishment to finish a project like this. Garrett already hit the 5's in the quarter mile! 🙌
And did it geared for 1/8 mile racing
And that thing is SLAMMED 💪
The team made one hell of a race car. Only going to get better from here. 5.80's in a new car is damn good. Hats off to CJRC.
