When villains and evil perishes, people will always find new things to fear for. The hero, for his/her power and influence will become the obvious target. People always fear and reject things that are foreign to them, the Hero who accomplished feats that is impossible for them to achieve can never be a part of them.
@@shaun5328 How many people think of King Arthur as a villain, or Hercules, or Sun Wukong? No, heroes last. Because there is something deep they touch upon, something that inspires others to greater heights, to believe and seek out ideals.
A world with no heroes is one that rolls over and gives up when things get hard, because they don't believe it can be overcome, they believe in nothing. I reject such a twisted lie as to believe all heroes end up abandoned. One that tries to undercut the sacrifices and the worth of humanity's pillars. No, heroes live on, in the stories we tell.
@@ryuuronin9852 The thing about King Arthur, Hercules and Sun WuKong is that their stories are often exaggerated fictions told through folklore, they are not always true, they are there to inspire hope and resolve to future generations.
Besides, these heroes you mentioned, they are NOT the invincible champions of their world. King Arthur has other nations and empires to compete with; In Hercules and Sun WuKong’s case, they got gods and deities above who has little to no regard for the benefits and lives of mankind. As long as there are potential villains out there, heroes can never fade out.
In the movie Dark Knight, Harvey Dent once said: ‘You Either Die A Hero, Or You Live Long Enough To See Yourself Become The Villain’. It is true for all our heroes, we grow up learning their achievements and honor, hoping to become them or even surpass the legend that they live behind, but we rarely get to meet them. Sometimes there is a reason why there is a saying “Never meet your childhood heroes.’’

theres an anime and b4 that a manga and novel of this scenario. its called "im quitting heroing: next gig is at the demon queens castle = yusha, yamemasu: tsugi no shokuba wa maojo" an amazing story and pretty well done anime. pretty great action when its shown. pay attention for some life lessons and real education with great delivery, at least much better than schools. only creative and awesome teachers can do better imho. :D

Remember anyone can be a villain and you don't need to have the saddest backstory to become one.
Hero's become legends, Legends become myths, Myths fade with time, till the right time when a new hero is needed. Then they cycle will begin anew. As hope fades for many it falls as a cloak to the ones strong enough to shape and lift it once more. Just as peace decays to chaos, hero's rise to fight chaos back to order. A cycle unbreaking for eternal time. After all a Villain tends to create the hero who can best them or even save them from themselves...

That doesn't change anything at all" said Irina relaxing on the chair in front of the bartenders table "The war it's over no one needs to fight anymore" replied the bartender "That is were you are wrong the war never ended it is still going just the people stopped fighting, you can never stop a war no matter who or what you are their will always be war, fighting, death, and misery" said Irina drinking her alcohol "W-what?" The bartender confused. "The war is still going on sometimes a war doesnt even have to be a battle with swords or shields but within our hearts for a whatever reason so while the battle is only ceased our emotions, and thoughts are also a massive part to a war within ourselves so again the war isnt over and tbh I dont think it will ever stop and if I was being bold and very truthful I dont ever want war to stop" said Irina taking a sip of her drink. The bartender was so shocked he eyes spoke for him asking "why" which made Irina smirk "Without wars who the hell are we? How will we ever change? How boring do you think life will be if we never changed and what will be the purpose of living a life if we never ever changed? War for me is yes death and misery but its battle of voices where no one is right or wrong just a battle of change between us foolish creatures what is why I never want war to end because if it did I wouldnt be the confident woman I would be now I would be the little girl who always does what people tell me to so theres your answer" said Irina as she got up and paid for the drink and left leaving a very speechless bartender.
On a rainy day, the hero Israel came from the war. Had killed the demon king and saved humanity from impending doom.
The mighty hero hears people shouting and congratulating him. "Well done hero!"

The hero starts laughing hysterically. "HAHAHAHA!" the bartender is scared and confused, confused seeing the hero laugh yet is craying. The hero said " Joyous?! What is joyous! I lost my family lost my friends lost my love! For what..." the bartender says "You saved everyone, you lost dear ones, but saved humanity" Israel angrily shouted "Saved humanity?! No! I temporarily stopped humanity's extinction!! There will always be other villains to harm humanity. Next ones will be stronger than now. I wonder who will save you then, bartender." Hero Israel continues his conversation with the bartender. Shortly he hears people whisper. "Did you hear? Apparently jamy died for nothing" other person. "What do you mean for nothing?" Stranger answered with " she died before killing the demon, apparently she died in the heroes hands, pathetic." The hero israel couldn't believe what he heard, for the people he saved to say such things about the dead friends of the hero who sacrificed themselves. The hero made a decision that moment. "Right, I suppose I still have a purpose in this forsaken life of mine" the confused bartender asks the hero. "W-what do you mean hero" the bartender can feel an ominous aura and the heroes face has gone red. Hero Israel replied "humanity has made another villain" the hero israel killed everyone in the bar. "Humanity shouldn't be saved, they need to suffer like I suffered!" And that is how a hero turned into a villain.

The Hero runs towards the Demon Lord, and stabs the being with a single thrust of his Holy Blade. The Demon Lord coughs up blood, and yet, the smile on his face remains.
"Now, you shall face the truth, no matter what you desire, my other half..."
The Demon Lord grab onto the Hero's shoulders, and closes in for a tight hug, forcing the blade deeper into himself. The Hero was left trembling and speechless at the action.
"-For the only reason, for you to exist, Brother, has died in your arms."
The Demon Lord lets out a bloody laugh, as his lifeforce slowly being extinguished by the holy attribute of the blade.
"What use, is a Hero, without a Villain?"
The Demon Lord, after having his energy spent and drained, turns to ash, leaving behind the Hero in an empty throne room.
The Hero, who soon fall to his knees in despair, knowing that despite winning the battle, he has lost something more precious.
another interesting story
@@HeroMusicOfficial it's based on a story I've read before. Can't remember what the name of it was, but to summarize it;
A boy, born in times of chaos, was chosen by the deity (can't remember if it's a God or Goddess) to be their proxy. He was forced to flee towards the Holy Nation of Antaranusa, because of the war, and along the way, his family got killed in the crossfire, causing his first awakening, which subsequently caused the awakening of ANOTHER proxy somewhere else.
Several dozen chapter of him being accepted to the Grand Church, being trained in ways of the Holy Warrior, meeting a few important characters, timeskip and training montages, and then he was forced to lead the 7 Allied Nation's Army against the Demonic Army. There's a lot of fucking stuff that's too harx to summarise, but basically the "alliance" isn't as solid as the Protagonist thought. It broke apart, 1 nation collapsing onto itself, while 4 others got taken by the Demonic Army.
The final battle of the story is basically a one-last-push sort of scenario, where they gather their remaining army and just rush over to the center of the Demonic Land, in a real bloody battle. Lots of important character died just to make the final push, and then the scene above played.
The Hero and the Demon Lord.
They had a battle at first, but the constant battle makes the Hero unable to actually kill the Demon Lord, and surprisingly, the Demon Lord wasn't that good at combat! They got into a stalemate, each sporting their own injuries, before the Demon Lord decided to just let the Hero win.
That should be the end of it, right?
Actually, that's the 3rd phase, out of 6.
It didn't end there. The small piece that I could recall and wrote on the first comment, you can basically guess the state of the Hero's mentality.
The Human/Demon War was over, at least the big one did, and the fallout was, to put it lightly, HUGE.
Lots of chaos, lots of mini wars, stuff that basically made you glad the Naz1 lost the WW2, because the depiction in the story is REALLY fucking detailed.
And the true, final boss you may ask?
Surprised surprised, it was the guy who causes all the stuff to happen in the first place.
The Deity.
It was a legit surprised at the end. And remember when I mention somebody else being awakened early on? You might have guess it by now, and you'd be right.
They were created to be a pair. Each of them representing their own ideology, because they were puppets carefully manipulated by the Deity as a sort of simulated arguement between which ideology is better used to develope the world that the Deity created.
It was pretty fucked up.
And the worst part? I can't even tell you how it ends, because the site it was written in was fucking PURGED! Years of reading an epic story, wasted right at the end...

We won't be needed, when this is over we won't, but they'll count on one thing, even if we aren't, we'll always be there, even if they forget why we were there in the first place, because that's what we do, even if they don't appreciate it, that's what makes us different from the villains of this world, when the world turned their back on us, those who want to change the wrongs of it, choose the easier and unstable path, forgetting that true change is built upon stable principles, a hero is an unchanging current of resolve, a villain is an unstable storm, and like all storms they bring ruin, but the rivers? They bring permanent change, for the valley is not built by strong winds, but by the firm resolve of steady waters. We are an extension of those principles, you may drop it whilst you are among the living, but remember this carefully for this is true, you will never destroy it, stamp it out no matter how hard you try, you will only wither and die if you do, and if you dare to destroy everything, what's a victor without his prize? And if you wanted to, what's a victory without any witness? They say a villain only need to win once, and hero needs to keep winning, not true, we have won, we already won, for they will enviously never achieve what we have, and that is our principle, and as long as those principles live on, we won't be needed, because someone else will do our work for us, until we all die, this is the only thing that remains true, we have already won over them, because our beliefs live on, and if they try to break it, they will only be assimilated by it, or die trying to, even if they try to bring everything down, they will be washed away with like our history, and there won't be any victors, the villain loses either way.
This is what I want to know what would a hero's purpose be without villains would we need superheroes ???? what would people do

There will always be a villain so there will always be a need for those who will push them back. However when there is no longer evil then the good must still remain to keep evil away or it will come back stronger than it was before

When all what defines you is being or becoming a Hero your life is really bad. Look on People in RL who are literally Heros. Most of them are normal before and return to their normal behaviors after. You need a good and stable mindset. Your actings can always be wrong even when you think you are right. A good example for it?: People in my town think my father is a hero cause he rescued a family on his way home from their burning house. BUT he was abusing, hard, not able to show his feelings except Anger, hate and negative feelings. and that by punshing us for no reasons just to feel better. ... in the end he was a hero and he wasn't in the same moments.
