- JR's FEEL GOOD LIVE SESSIONS presents the proverbial R&B/Soul newbie Langa Mavuso. Following the release of his debut six-track EP Liminal Sketches in 2016, Mavuso solidified his presence in the South African music landscape with his soul-stirring EP Home. Langa’s UCTLiveRoom’s rendition of “Sunday Blues” trended nationally and is what placed the 24 year old singer among some great male vocalists. From a trend to an EP and now signed under Soulistic Music, Langa Mavuso proves that R&B and Soul is not dead but going through a rebirth.

This is the first time I listen to Langa Mavuso and I regret why I havent been listening. However, I think big S/O and love and respect be to JR for this show! It shows us the first hand feel of the actual artist blending with their art, its another thing to listen to an album you know, you dont hear THAT THING on an album but here! Damn man! I think he was discovered by Spoek Mathambo after he(Langa) sent him a couple of his songs but he is signed to Black Coffee's label. Not sure if even Spoek discovered him after that.
