Carter, you nailed it. Great question, beginnings of a solid friendship.

Great interview and I really appreciate Coach’s candidness and insights into the transition game

Kenny is such a humble coach. I initially wanted Borrego, but I’m all in on Atkinson now. Really hope he’s the guy for the team. Being a true lifelong learner is a surprisingly rare trait that I think Kenny definitely has. Super excited for this season!

Kenny, this is the era of getting nerdy about basketball on youtube. Put a camera in the film sessions, and I'd watch it.

Man I really like how Kenny talk..this night day from JB and I liked JB for giving us that defensive identity because when he took over we were near the bottom of the league, but it was time for a new philosophy in that locker room

the defensive culture he instilled was important. the effort and IQ he demanded on that end will stick with the players for a long time. but the stuff kenny is talking about is game changing. they built a lot of leads in the playoffs through pace and shooting transition buckets and lost them because they couldnt keep it up for the whole game, mostly by design. if the cavaliers are operating at a quick pace for 48 minutes they will be hell to guard. JB ran a slow pace for a reason though. he wanted the defensive solidity. the players will have to get used to defending at an elite level while pushing the pace whenever they can. it will be very exhausting but will pay off big time when it clicks

@vism2812 Good 💩...yes I feel this why Kenny may go 11 deep gonna have to trust the bench to produce

@@parkey8936 Appreciate it, I just try to be logical and not emotional when evaluating our Cleveland teams

@@Clevelandsportsfann22 the bench can do it. JB couldnt trust them cause of his limitations, not theirs. he was struggling to involve evan mobley and jarrett allen in the offence, how is he supposed to find roles for guys like okoro and merrill? atkinson and his fresh ideas will maximize everyone from spida to georges niang

Guys we have had a top 5 defense every year since we got Mobley, but our offense at times have struggled , Kenny will fix that easily and change the roles for some of our key bench players!

Glad to hear about transition and pace in the half court.....When you are small....(like we are 1 thru 3) you BETTER push the ball!!!!

Seems night and day compared to JB, very modern thought process on how the game should work! Very excited and optimistic about the Kenny era!
