Godzilla is truly the world's most famous mon-STAR! I remember coming across a VHS of Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla at a Goodwill way back when. It was my first exposure to the true Godzilla. (the Tri-Star movie doesn't count lol) I became hooked; renting and buying all the Godzilla DVDs I could find throughout the 2000s, and have been a fan ever since! Here's to the next 70 years! 🥳

to be fair with godzilla there were plenty of screw ups. the big difference is toho doesnt milk him until hes no longer profitable. they eventually let the big guy rest for a few years to over a decade then they bring him back. toho also learns from their mistakes and doesnt attack their audience for disliking what was released
