Hi Lydia, The Patio Umbrella Rib Repair kit only fixes the broken rib.
I see from the photo you sent, that it is a rivet and not a screw so the only way to fix your umbrella joint is to try and find the manufacture and order replacement parts.

We have done a few of these patio umbrella repairs, so yes, I can get it done in five minutes. I suggest you take your time to line up the adhesive, smooth out the air bubbles to make it look perfect. Will probably take you ten minutes.

The video is 3:16 minutes, Start to finish should take you less that 10 minutes just because you have never applied the repair kit.
