I love my thermal on my focus st. I ordered the 3" for my explorer st and it's coming tomorrow. I wish you had done an in-cabin for the 3" too. Maybe I can do one and share my results.
Thermal R&D makes a great product. I run it on my Fiesta ST and it is by far the best sounding exhaust in my opinion for my car. Great tone and very low to no drone during highway driving
as the owner of a 21 ST, as I see it before I can go faster, I need to stop faster. so, brake upgrades & getting the most rubber on the road are my 1st issues I need to address before I add more power. physics matter and cannot be avoided or ignored, the Explorer ST is a heavy SOB and will overheat its brakes. what are the options?
Well yes when modifying a performance vehicle you take care of supporting mods first before power. Whether that’s better tires, brakes, suspension/sway bars/chassis support. Exhaust is fine. Then things like upgraded motor mounts, charge pipes, etc then add power/tune imo. Sometimes a nice starting tune with a catback exhaust and better tires works well for a start.
That exhaust was super easy to install. No cutting or welding.
I prefer the sound of the 3 inch exhaust over the 2.5.
Thanks this helps a great deal in making my decision between 2.5 and 3. Both sound great - clearly 3”‘ is just louder as expected.
Ive been doing the same- bought my 25 Ex Sport a month ago and back and forth but the 3 to me is the way to go
Cool!
That's cool & important! You guys compared the Thermal 2.5 & 3.0" exhaust systems. Personally, I think the 3's sound better, though.

I have it as well on the Fiesta st
How about roof rack delete?
Is it possible to turn off the noise pumped thru the speakers without changing driving mode?
By using Forscan, it can.
@josedelarosa6449 ah thank you very much. I forgot I bought a forscan dongle to turn off the horn honking when I shut the door with the engine on

Someone posted a video installing GT500 brakes on an ST. Search for it.
@@toddbarrowman8857 yes, I saw that. thanks for the reply!
Need real wheels, oem ones are ugly and blend. Previous gen were much nicer. Love the exhaust!
I agree. I saw someone in a Facebook group got the ‘25 wheels powder coated black. Looks much better
