Sodergren has become one of my favorite authors. He also comes out with new books at least once a year. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Maggie's grave. The haar is his newest and I also immensely enjoyed that.
Yess!! Sodergren for the win! I may read this one next, or Night Shoot! hahaha loved the bloopers, I actually thought you never had any because you always seem so eloquent!
Enjoyed this review, Olly! I looked up Sodergren after watching this and my head's spinning. He's written so much, and apparently all his books are amazing. I want to read them all!
Emoji drop! 👹 I should have waited 30 more seconds before leaving an emoji drop! I've read Forgotten Island, but I absolutely hated it. I've only been reading horror for the last 2 years or so, and I have discovered I do not like gratuitous gore 😵💫, so he's definitely not the author for me! 😂
Ha ha! Satan’s Burnouts was the last book I read for GarbAugust 🥲 and finished it yesterday. Throughly enjoyed the cinematic quality of it. If the Burnouts were also vampires - It would have been epic! FYI - I completely blame both you and Michelle for this one. 🤣😂 The bloopers 🤣

Thanks Wade! I have a copy of The Haar so need to get to that. Want to read all the things by him that I haven’t got to yet
What a strange serendipity- I just finished this book yesterday and ta-da here you are making this review.
Aha! Perfect

Oh gosh, half my footage is nonsense!

If you have a Kindle you could get a free Kindle Unlimited trial and get through them pretty quickly.
Thanks for watching!
@@CriminOllyBlog I don't have a Kindle, but that's okay. I prefer print books anyway, which forces me to pace myself (somewhat, ha).
Great review Olly! I'm a big Sodergren fan, and can't wait to get to this one. Love the bloopers. 🤣
Thank you! and yeah my mind just kept blanking on the title :D
I still need to read Sodergren! His books sounds great.
I think you’d like him a lot
@@CriminOllyBlog I think so too!
This sounds fantastic - will probably seek this out for my next horror read
It's a lot of fun. Sodergren would definitely have been employed by NEL in the 70s
I have never heard of the author before, but I will check him out.
I think you'll enjoy him
So far I’ve read forgotten island and Nihgt shoot both of wich I really liked
The good news is there are plenty more books to read and he keeps writing more!
I have read Sodergren before, but not this one. Satan's Burnouts Must Die sounds pretty good!
It was a load of fun
This sounds like it would pair with Hobo with a Shotgun.
Yeah it definitely comes from a similar place
Just the title alone makes me want to read it! I think something is wrong with me! 🤣🤣🤣
I think something is RIGHT with you!
Well, this book sounds great! I’ve never heard of this author.
He’s really entertaining
Emoji drop! 👹

LOL yes he's definitely not the author for you
Never heard of him. Does he write non-fiction ? 🤣 'The Devils Donuts' would have been easier to remember 😉
😂😂

Yay! Glad you enjoyed it! I thought it was a lot of (horrible) fun
