@thatjrpganimefanplayerjusi8003 approximately 3 million light years IS "far, far away". The light that we now see from Triangulum left that Galaxy over 2 million years before homo sapiens were even a notion. If you don't think that's far away, you should check your math. The reason for the theory regarding Triangulum being the Star Wars galaxy is because one of the movie posters for E.T. says that he came from 3 million light years away. Triangulum would be the likely fit. E.T. and his planet are confirmed to be in the Star Wars galaxy(we see representatives from his planet in Episode I). At the end of Episode V, we see that the galaxy is a spiral galaxy, much like Triangulum. It's just a theory, but it makes sense.
Triandromilk Galaxy (which sounds like "try and dry milk"). I think whatever it is, it has to start with 'tri-' to denote fact that it's a combination of three galaxies.
My favorite galaxy, in fact. Rich, active and large enough to be a spiral, but small enough to be "homey"! I still think it deserves the name "Pinwheel Galaxy" more than that humongous M-101.
If you click on the galaxy and focus it you can easily find the black holes by decreasing the distance to near 0, instead of time acceleration and flying around in the centre.
I actually found a star orbiting a gas giant planet in space engine. I did not even know that was possible because all planets, including gas giants typically have less mass and gravitational pull than the smallest stars which are brown and red dwarfs. This star however, was either a very small brown dwarf, or very small red dwarf (I don't remember exactly) with low mass, and it was orbiting the gas giant, which had greater mass. The star also had a couple of small tiny planets orbiting it. The gas giant was actually the center of this particular "star system." I didn't know it was possible for something like this to randomly generate, because space engine uses real NASA astronomy science, and abides by all the known laws of science. So if something like this can generate in space engine, then there must be something like this out there in the universe, either in this galaxy, or another galaxy.
i have seen the andromeda galaxy with my telescope, it looks like a grey oval sphere. but its pretty cool to know that the light im seeing is from 2.5 million years ago.
I had read about the Triangulum Galaxy in a series of sci-fi books by Raymond Weil!!! Some bad guy aliens had built some sort of tunnel from the Milky Ways black hole to the Triangulum Galaxy (not it’s black hole!!) and we chased the aliens into Triangulum and that’s where the story takes place. Is kinda cool knowing about another Galaxy when I hear about it because of reading that book!!!
The main reference to the Triangulum galaxy is the scifi series Andromeda. The Systems Commonwealth contained planets from all over the local group: Andromeda, Milky Way, & Triangulum galaxies.
"only" is a very, very relative term in a cosmic scale of things. "only" 40 billion stars "only" 2.8 million lights years away "only" 40 thousand lights years in diameter No wonder Sci-Fi writers inherently have NO sense of scale, it almost seems the Milky way galaxy is too crowded and the Triangulum Galaxy is a weekend getaway. e.g. Star Gate and the Andromeda galaxy, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Crysis and comics are the worst i.e. Image comics - a "superman" like character is said to literally *lift* the entire Universe.
If Earth collidied with jupiter, we'd still call it jupiter because Jupiter is the most massive and therefore obviously victorious body. So if the Milky Way collides with Andromeda, we should dtill just call it Andromeda for the same reasons.
Harry Evett except they won't be galaxies during formation, just orbiting and merging black holes shaking off and absorbing tiny beads. There is no obvious winner when two intertwined black holes merge to form a bigger hole. The analogy only works if you define the supermassive black hole to be the galaxy itself.

A black hole circulating around a star?! The BH must be very tiny and we know that WR stars are huge, but to have a star with more gravity than a BH seems to break the idea that BH's eat stars.
Is the Triangulum Galaxy the one that cannot produce new stars although there are vast quantities of interstellar dust and gases within it in supersaturated space density ???
maybe we will call them triandromeda........with milk. what program are you using to see those galaxies is it accurate in the measurements or just place holders?
I’m just not seeing how two super giant stars can exist side by side, have one of them go supernova, and the other one still be around, still as a super giant.
Pssh, that star is nothin', I found a star that is 300 solar masses, with a diameter of 107 AUs. It was in the galaxy NGC 113, about 200 million light years from earth. This monster makes UY Scuti and Canis Majoris wet their pants and have nightmares it's so big. Below I've pasted the name of the place if you want to check it out. I don't know if space engine is procedurally generated, so it might be different for you, but if everything is the same on every copy of space engine, then here you go, this thing is a hypergiant. It has two planets (I recommend you view it from their surfaces, it'll blow your mind away), and it too has a black hole zipping around it, with five ominously similar planets orbiting it. Place "This star puts UY Scuti to SHAME" { Ver 980 Body "RS 3078-450-0-0-71 A" Parent "RS 3078-450-0-0-71" I recommend you view it from
In a few billion years when the andromeda galaxy will collide with the Milky Way, Triangulum will collide with milkdromeda. And with all of them in 1 galaxy it will be called milktriangdromeda
Finally, Triangulum gets some love.
Andromeda gets too much spotlight
I think there's a SCP from there
Some fun information about Triangulum: it is believed to be the both the Star Wars galaxy and E.T.'s home galaxy.
Makes sense cuz E.T was in Star Wars.
Nope the beginning of Star Wars intro always says other whys aka A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY meaning it’s definitely not in our home galaxy cluster

i think Andromeda is better known because it sounds sexier
Thuggee go back in the past go to greece and marry Andromeda then
And also Triangulum isn't based off a lactose product
facial animations aren't that great tho
+xx_progamer550_xx// Nowlookatthisnet550 going back in time is currently beyond my means
Thuggee What the heck
It was also in a episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation "where no one has gone before"
Dopesmoker42020 Ha, just watched that a minute ago.
that's what brought me here, no pun intended.
Hello wonderful Anton, this is person
NGC 4993
l’ve heard this so many times!!!!!
HELLO THIS ANTON, WONDERFUL IS PERSON
I'm glad that you mentioned the Ceph. Their one of my favourite alien species in sci-fi, also Tridrom Way.
You changed your intro animation!! hell yeah!
now I can commend ur channel to my friends without feeling embarassed!
I like space
Who doesn't? Only Flat Earth theorists don't admire the beauty and strength of space
exactly
why did i read this horribly misspelled.
xd
spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace
JANUARY MEME ALARM IS ON
There are some pretty interesting looking bright globular clusters in and around M31 and M33. Is there any chance you could do a short video on them?
I'm especially interested in how some globular clusters formed in intergalactic space.
IIRC globular clusters are like the precursors to galaxies, another cool topic would be to explore how they collided/interacted to form galaxies.
Can you imagine the view while being on one of those systems in the space between Andromeda and Triangulum?
8:40 Trimilkdromeda Galaxy sounds good.
Triandromilk Galaxy (which sounds like "try and dry milk"). I think whatever it is, it has to start with 'tri-' to denote fact that it's a combination of three galaxies.
thanks Anton. I was looking info about that collision issue.

Space Iluminati Comfirmed
Combo of the 3 galaxies: The Tri Milk Drama
Triangulum a really cool name, feel like going to the local registrar to change my name to Triangulum sounds Godlike!
It was also mentioned in Star Trek TNG (the episode with the traveller)
The Triangulum Galaxy is also the same one proposed to be where the Star Wars universe takes place at.
If you click on the galaxy and focus it you can easily find the black holes by decreasing the distance to near 0, instead of time acceleration and flying around in the centre.

That we can know so much about an object as far away as M 33 X-7 just boggles my mind.
And the idea that it no longer exists, but we observe what existed 2 million years ago. That's cool.
How about milktriamida
Famishedchack90 101 wut
Its milkdromeda
Enterprise 1701-D ended up in the Triangulum Galaxy.
8:24: Trimilkomeda
Maybe we could call that union the "Androgulum Way"?
I like the fact that music in your intro sounds like an Amiga music module.
Very interesting. Your videos are excellent, and I look forward to them every day. Thanks.
I LOVE THE NEW INTRO
i have seen the andromeda galaxy with my telescope, it looks like a grey oval sphere. but its pretty cool to know that the light im seeing is from 2.5 million years ago.
i call it Trimilkdromeda

Triangulum collides with Andromeda
Trianmada
Trianmada colides with the Milky Way
Milktrianmada
As an aside, Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda with Kevin Sorbonne references Triangulum a lot.
I hope it doesn't get thrown out into the abyss. We're gonna need all the star-making mass we've got in our journey into the eternal night
This Galaxy is mine
This Triangulum Galaxy
The Bluest Hottest stars, the Biggest Galaxies,
Their all mine mine mine mine mine.
Triangulum is featured in Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. Damn good show that!
Andromeda and milky way: crash into each other
Triangulum: *grabs popcorn*
Milktrimidad and Tobago? Gotta send love from hi country man!
It was mentioned all the time in the TV show Andromeda and Enterprise-D accidently went there briefly in TNG.
Anton What Is The Name Of The Into Song
I likes the Triangulum Galaxy, it is my favourite one
Yeah, that's a nice one, but I'm sticking with M51, the Whirlpool Galaxy.
I'm also m51
Pinwheel Galaxy represent
YOU PLAY CRYSIS!? YOU ARE NOW MY NEW BEST FRIEND!
Didn’t even k kw about this galaxy 🌌 wow... love it

That makes sense now that I realize it
That Galaxy was mentioned in Star Trek the next generation episode five. The Traveller alien took the Enterprise there.
The Triangulum Galaxy is also mentioned in Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda.
The reference to this galaxy i remember was from Star Trek TNG where the traveler send them to the far side of triangulum galaxy m33.
Home is only sweet because you are here Anton
Triangulum is also featured in the dodgy Sci Fi series, Andromeda.
I realized last night that we are closer to another galaxy than we are to our own galactic core (bat about 1000 light years)
Brilliant video!!!! What software are you using?

Is the Triangulum Galaxy the one that cannot produce new stars although there are vast quantities of interstellar dust and gases within it in supersaturated space density ???
It is a subclass of galaxies known as a "flocculent spiral".
Triangulum actually appears in Elite Dangerous.
This galaxy is mentioned in an episode of Star Trek
In the episode with a mysterious traveller
Tridroway galaxy? Hmm, oh I know it! Clusterfuck galaxy!
maybe we will call them triandromeda........with milk. what program are you using to see those galaxies is it accurate in the measurements or just place holders?
What's the intro theme
I’m just not seeing how two super giant stars can exist side by side, have one of them go supernova, and the other one still be around, still as a super giant.
this was on one star trek episode called where none has gone befoe
I loved it. Thank you. May I asked what is this software?!
Do wonder if the Large Magellanic Cloud used to look like Trianglum back before Our Galaxy messed with it.
Thanks for the share
4:22 what class star is this?
Milktridromeda?
Mat that’s the name of our trio

I found your video, educating. Thankyou for taking the time to share with us. The engine looks great. You use, a software called space engine ?
I know you tried your best with grammar, but it is incorrect, too much commas.
god bless youtube compression
Yeah I knew the Ceph came from there. Pretty cool game btw.
Thank you for this vid
Cool video.
Andromilkulum. There you go.
i hear the Triangulum measles are nasty
What is the software that u use too see space? PLS tell
What you think about new photo?
The Trimeda Way Galaxy = Milky Way + Andromeda + Trianglum galaxies.
