Great video George. I went to an auction Saturday and almost got one of those tool boxes with the drawers and deep top compartment you got a few videos back. Mamma bear had enough before they put it up, maybe next time.
Thanks My Brother! It's been cold here so The only thing the Missus was looking for is the heater in our friend Robin's shop LOL! Take care Love to you and the family.
You really have a knack for finding cool tools. Quality vintage American tools are great. $2 for that nice Craftsman hobby vice is a steal. I also like the way you have dedicated electric motors for wire brushing and buffing/polishing in your shop. This saves wheel and arbor changeouts. Great tools.
Love the framing squares for that price ! Can never have enough punches. Love a good tool box find ! May have to reupload one of mine lol , think the difference in handle colours could be either different factory or totally different decade of production ?? You find the best stuff . You are THE BEST TOOL HAULER ON UA-cam !!
Thanks Uncle Jim! Umm Yes please put up a vid! Good thinking on those screwdrivers. I don't know if I find the best stuff but I do find the stuff I like.
I used a bumper jack once, on a '79 Impala. Was about 16, early 90s. Jacks aren't supposed to fly 15ft away, pretty sure that wasn't supposed to happen. Almost hit my buddy. Good times. Great finds, George. Keep a Rockin and a Rollin
Thats quite a haul George. I enjoy tool boxes like that, it's like a box of chocolates,. The hammers were cool, are you going to restore the old bumper jack? Good stuff, enjoyed the video.
George, I'm always amazed at the prices you and Scoutcrafter pay for tools at flea markets. Here in the Missouri, they would want $6-8 for each of those Wright screwwdrivers, and ditto with the prices for all the other stuff too.
I am surrounded by flea markets. I have 4 in my immediate area. So I think that's a factor that keeps the prices in check, i have seen a rise on some things though.
Wow,what a great haul! The first hammer looks like the type we made in shop class in school. Wow that takes me back, but the rest of the " Treasures" are awesome, until then see you next time!
1:45 A contour gauge. Not so much for angles but for tracing profiles and uneven surfaces. One of those tools that aren’t the pride of anybody’s collection, but will be just the ticket - and the only thing that works - in certain situations.
The junky tool boxes are fun, love to sort through them for treasures! You got some good stuff there and that old bumper jack is cool. The generation today doesn't understand. Those Wright screwdrivers are pretty sweet.
Thanks Fred! It's fun digging through the toolboxes and much better doing it in the comfort of the shop. No kids today will never know the excitement of tools that are sketchy AF to use.🤣
Wonderful tool haul. Its funny you would find those wright 9125's I have exactly two of them, same number and the blades are different. One is a cabinet tip and the other is more of a standard keystone tip. I'm really surprised you found an SK #2 phillips.they are hard to find in decent shape. I don't need anymore punches either. I like those Bonney's. You did great.
I could be wrong, but if my memory is correct, the vanadium tool company was in southern Ohio. I have come across a couple of thier wrenches over the years. Bummer that you have not found any Kreuter in all those wrenches! I am always on the lookout for them. They must be pretty rare.
That was a hell of a haul Super George! Those Bonney engineer wrenches were awesome as were the Wright screwdrivers. I hope you do a restoration video of the bumper jack, that thing is pretty cool! Seems like you find an S-K screwdriver everytime you go out. If you ever decide to release them back into the wild I'm looking for more of them. I bought a set back in the late 80s and only have 4 left and they are my favorite to use. Awesome video brother
@@Uwannawatch that jack is awesome brother. I've never seen one quite like that and i grew up in a time when there was a bumper jack in every vehicle. Man i miss those days. Everything just looked so much cooler back then.
They were all terrifying to use🤣 i remember jacking up some of those old rusty New York cars i use to drive and feeling the damn bumper was going to fall off 🤣
Buying a toolbox full of tools is fun and like a grab bag. You never know what you'll find.🤔 Just curious... You talk about using a tool at work, if you don't mind me asking, and it's ok if you don't want to say, but what do you do for a living? I worked 33 years I the chemical/ pharmaceutical industry. I retired 5 years ago. Have a Jesus filled day everyone Greg in Michigan
Why so many tweezers? In my experience they sense when they are going to be needed and go into hiding. Not quite like 10mm sockets which travel to an alternate universe, never to be seen by their former owners/users again. The tweezers reappear a day or too after they are no longer needed.
2:10 is a version of what might be my favorite tool. I use the Stanley and I'm on my second one. I bought the first one in New Britain, CT when I was framing a house there. Used it for years then then one of the forks busted....I kept going for years after that. Eventually it gave out..snapped in half. For years and years l looked through yard sales with no luck. Then one day...there was a Harry Homeowner tool box and I opened it only to check for this tool. Got it! 2:10
Good haul George. I like the toolboxes!
Thank You Mr. Bill! I like buying tool boxes from time to time.
Great buys!
Thanks Yadda!

Great haul George
Thanks Patrick.
So many wrenches and sockets. I like the bumper jack, which would make a good restoration video 👍
Thanks Little brother.. I might do it. I don't know.
A great haul of tools mate. Should keep you busy for a little while. You and your lovely wife manage to sniff out the bargains. Take care buddy.
Thanks My Brother! It's been cold here so The only thing the Missus was looking for is the heater in our friend Robin's shop LOL! Take care Love to you and the family.

How about that Wizard 🧙♂️ I'd never seen a wizars snip either..nice! Another good haul Mr. George!!
Thanks Big Brother. I thought you'd like those snips. 😁 Who knew they made them?

Nice haul got a few things to add to collection
Thanks..Ya a few for the collection and a few to go back out in the wild.
I had to pause the video, so I could comment on the tool boxes. Wow! Some funtime clean up and holy moly! What a find.
Thanks man! Ya toolboxes are a fun buy..you never know what you're gonna find in them.

Yes they are pretty rare! When I find a full set I'll stop going to the flea market.😂
very cool haul George
Thanks Dan O!
Put that little prybar in your carpenter tool belt. I have one and it handy to have.
That's a good idea! They do come in handy that's for sure.

Hi George, love your channel, I was it a local Restore Saturday and bought 5 framing squares for $5.00 as well. How about that !!
Thanks Man! That's funny! 😁
Oh my word do you have the motherload of Bonney wrenches!
Ya that was one of those once in a life time finds I got the set for $20.

Hey Greg, I'm a plumber. I work for the Government. Congratulations on your retirement.
The Bonney hydraulic wrenches are perfect. Do you plan to keep them or resell?
Not quite sure yet.
Why so many tweezers? In my experience they sense when they are going to be needed and go into hiding. Not quite like 10mm sockets which travel to an alternate universe, never to be seen by their former owners/users again. The tweezers reappear a day or too after they are no longer needed.
🤣🤣 That's so true!!! especially the good pair of tweezers that some how is never where you left them.
Like you, I get stuck with an overflow of stuff/junk that I don't want. What do you do to get rid of it? Decent stuff I Ebay.
I don't do ebay.. I trade, donate, or release them back into the wild on Marketplace or back at the flea markets.
