Everything you said in this video makes a lot of sense. I also ditched my brush on most washes in favor of a microfiber cloth for the tighter areas, inside the door jambs, and the black trim areas around the doors and underneath the windscreen area. But I keep my car a lot cleaner than most people do.
hejj yves... you are just the perfect ambassador for gyeon. i really loved this video. Never thought about rinsing the foam from the bottom to the top, or washing the lower parts from the middle to the wheels. makes great sense if i think about it now. I am dying to get my hands on the new wax. i am already seeing that gyeon developped an absolute bomber with the wax. Best regards from Switzerland A Gyeon lover called Phil
Hi Phil, thanks for your comment. I’m rather the logical guy. The proof is always in the pudding. You will love the new Wax for sure. Your patience will be rewarded. Ps. I love Switzerland ;) Regards, Y.
I would not overuse and mix to many products. When you have Gyeon Wax on your car, let the product do it’s job and pick one drying aid. In the case of the Gyeon Wax I would suggest Gyeon CeramicDetailer or Gyeon QuickDetailer. When performance of your wax drops down in time you could start to use Wetcoat for an easier drying process. Regards, Y.
Wow! Amazing. But so many products. I don't have the money to buy so many. I don't even have so much space or a pressure washer. Washing the car is really fun. I enjoy it. I find it relaxing. I use only 4 products to wash my car inside out but they are all from a different brand.
It will. But Bath+ isn’t as foamy as Bath or Essence. The fact that you don’t get suds with Essence is not normal because it should create nice foam. Just remember, having a lot of suds (or no suds) has no effect on slickness, it’s just a visual extra. I would rather be worried about the hardness of your water. Regards, Y.
We have dedicated products to clean and maintain your PPF. From our PPF shampoo to PPF Maintain as your dedicated quick detailer. If your PPF has no hydrophobic properties you can put a layer of our PPF coating on top for an even easier cleaning experience. Regards, Y.
After all the chemical decontamination work is done and after you have rinsed your foam off, you can either wash the car with Q2M Bath and use Bath+ in a foamgun AFTER that or you can wash the car with Bath+ as your shampoo. Different options are possible. Regards, Y.
I don’t really understand blasting the door jamb like that. Getting water inside the car isn’t ideal. If you want to spray the jamb with water, seems it would be better to turn the pressure washer off and just use the gun in light spray mode.
I’ll try to explain why we showed this. Many people who have a pressure washer don’t always have a quick connect system or a seperate hose. So if they want to rinse with the tool that they have in their hands at the moment without having water in the car, this is the way to do it. Personally I have a disconnect system with open water stream but we want to show other possibilities as well. Regards, Y.
How do you deal with the soap drying? If I took that much time with different mits and bottom area separation the first side will dry before I finish the other side.
When you don’t wash in the sun or on hot panels, this is not a big issue when you rinse properly. With Bath + I suggest to wash a panel or a side at the time and rinse it immediately. Crucial is NOT to use chemicals on hot or even warm panels and even more important is to check the hardness of your water, this can cause far more “damage” to your car’s paintwork then dried out neutral shampoo. Regards, Y.
@@GYEON_official Thanks that makes sense. I have very hard water where I live and want to invest in a water Deionization set up. I always use the regular bathe soap as it’s my favorite overall from the many I have tried. Random question but would appreciate any help. How can I seal/protect alcantara? Is gyeon fabric coat okay to use on alcantara/synthetic suede?
When you have very hard water I would suggest to wash, rinse and dry small sections to prevent waterspot issues. FabricCoat is great on alcantara, just don’t spray inside the car to prevent overspray on interior panels or mask them properly. Don’t over use the product, 2 thin layers is better then a thick one. Use a rubber glove to level the mist you sprayed. Regards, Y.
@@GYEON_official Perfect thanks so much for the tips ! I will give the fabric coat a shot. Last question is if I don’t spray it directly what can I use for the initial application? Just spray a suede applicator and then spread? (it’s a steering wheel)
Should have done the door jams before the wash. Doing it in this order in 98 degree = water spots or doing double job for rinse and drying. For DIY wasting time doesn't matter. For detailing its time and money lost.
Yves. Why are you and why is Gyeon Quartz such an amazing person, an amazing detailer, and an amazing brand? I can not get enough.
Thanks for your kind comment. We are just doing it the G-on Way ;)

Great tips!
Nice episode ! I'm always wondering if silk mits and dryers will not end up with silica cristals in them after using cure with them.
If washed after each use no problem at all 👍🏻

You’re just amazing
I am drying the car with blower then use quick detailer for gloss + drying aid and to remove water spots for my ceramic coated car. Is this wrong?
Will hard water prevent suds in soap bucket? I have Bathe, bathe+ and essence but don't get much suds in my buckets.

Yea it sucks they don't make the V8's. This video is gold thank you! Where can I find them Gyeon Quartz Buckets?
We don’t provide the buckets but you can order the GYEON decals.
@@dtail9638 I did not even see decals? Do you have a link? Thank you.
@@TrVlogs82 You have to check out your local distributor or reseller, they are available to order...✌🏻

What pressure washer are you using Yves, the gun looks like to have great controllability.
It’s a Karcher but I have no clue what exact model. Sorry. Personally I use a Kranzle with a MTM gun and quick connect.

Yeah that nozzle is insane. Can't figure out what it is attached to that Karcher.
How do you wash your washing towels and mits?

Hello, Would Wet Coat also be a good option if I did not have Gyeon Cure on hand? Thank you.
Q²M Wetcoat is always good but it’s a spray an rinse product. Q²M Cure is not.

On a steering wheel you can do it but would be the goal? It’s meant to not absorb liquids.

no, as the door jams get water inside them while washing the car.
