Yes. While it is not everyone that is meant to marry and all, marriage is an institution created by God. The devil hates what God created most especially marriage because it is a picture of Christ and his union with his Bride, the church. The devil hates this so much and wouldn’t want it. So a best way to fight is to scatter the earthly picture by scattering peoples marriages. The battle is so obvious. The high rate of divorce cases. The increasing rate of same sex marriage. But that doesn’t mean marriage is not a divinely created institution. Like Paul and every others, not everyone is to marry. But it’s still God’s Will for men who intend to marry to marry.

Though one must be know that for you to be led in making the right decision at a crucial stage in one's life, like marriage, one must have developed the habit of being led in other areas of life. And believe me when I say that you can't be led if you don't LISTEN AND OBEY. Many people hope in God that they meet with the right person for marriage and all of that but this cannot happen if you haven't form the habit of obeying God. So I think the best thing would be making sure your relationship with God is stable (this comes from constant obedience to his will). If you can listen and obey God in matters that are of less consequence, then when the time comes for marriage (of course he'll decide this), rest assured you'll be able to find the right spouse with ease.

Thank you Jesus for giving me the answers. I thought my husband was a good Christian until I got married. Yes I have been through exactly as shown in this video. He abuse me every day, insult, call me ugly and always looking for another woman, sometimes leaves me alone at night, I was so worried didn't know what to do because I loved God and don't want break our marriage but oneday he beat me so badly and was taken to the hospital. I had to leave his house. This is all because I didn't pray before my marriage I thought he was the one.
This is exactly happened to me! My wife abuses me every day also she talk bad things about me to everyone! I have 2 kids with her and have no way to escape! Only Jesus should save me and my kids 😒😒😒

For me praying in tongues got me the results I needed. The Spirit knows what to pray. If you pray naturally about this issue you most likely won't know what exactly to pray.
I prayed day and night in tongues. It was random and frequent and often quite short or about a minute or so a time. In the shower, walking, travelling, in the bathroom, just about anywhere and anytime I'd take the opportunity to pray in tongues.
Often witchcraft is involved even thought you may never see tangible clues. Predatory spouses are wicked and dangerous. You need God to rescue you.
I am still in awe of how God did it for me. I couldn't have done it at all. Please don't limit God, His ways and thoughts are not like ours. He is a Master of all solutions, the unmatched Almighty conquer. He knows your situation and he has the exact solution for it. Align yourself with Him.

First you have to admit that you erred by not seeking Him and trusting His leading. You also need to stop the regret and bitterness. Forgive yourself and also forgive your husband.
Then present your case before God. All you want is in his word.

But my parents fell for his gimmicks.
It was the opposite of this film, as I kept saying something is not quite right about this guy, but my parents saw only the outward that appeared perfect.
It didn't help matters that I was almost 34 years old and had a sister that was 42 years old at that time; who had never been married.
So I think they just didn't want the same thing to happen to me.
It has been almost 17 years of he'll.
If not for my salvation, I would have committed suicide within the first 3 months of my marriage.
Marrying the wrong person is worse than a prison sentence.
And it is very true that the devil send these evil people to those who have been destined by God to wreak great havoc against his evil kingdom.
Finally, I have learnt that these kind of marriages are usually the result of serious witchcraft spells and demonic manipulations against the innocent spouse.
Holy crap that makes me laugh while I'm so sad about the marriage engagements that we talking about is that to engaged with someone to be his slave to mistreat you with all kinds of things in the name of God, wow I'd never knew that, I've learn a lot from this video
God is great! I'm so thankful for his deliverance as well & Him opening my eyes to trust him and walk away from an engagement that wasn't of His will either.
Unfortunately I was coerced by the Pastor and his wife to marry my narcissist boyfriend. I became a Christian and they thought he had too. You can take people advice but let your decisions be your own made up mind. The man and his family especially his mother worked witchcraft on me throughout the marriage. It’s because I became a Christian why they couldn’t kill me. God didn’t convert me to go married to that man, he converted me to save me from him. Too bad Mr Pastor and wife came along talking marriage to me as a baby Christian and I bought into it. As the witchcraft intensified I was plunged into a great spiritual battle that almost made me a mental case. They fight so hard as if they believed they conquered me but God step in and when he showed me them I wanted to survive. I only saw them through fasting, praying and reading especially Psalms 91, 23. God delivered me. I signed the marriage certificate and I was free. Divorce is not just the signing of a paper there is a lot going on in the spiritual realm that leads to divorce. Sometimes it’s God’s will that you separate as some marriages are mistake. Stay long enough then consequences come such as death, mental health issue and depression. Trust in the Lord not Man.
This was exactly what I went through. Sounds too familiar 😭💔💔💔. God is in the process of repairing my life now.

I am a single parent for 7 years now after a divorce. Married at age 24, divorce at 30! I use to go Church every Sunday with my ex husband and I believe I was in the perfect situation. I couldn’t understand his devilish ways. I kept telling myself this marriage was Gods doing even so that I was coerced by a Pastor to marry him. I believed the Pastor was hearing from God. I endured alot with him and God showed me many signs that he was no good for me that I ignored. He kept on in the marriage telling me I was fighting him and I never understood. When Hell broke lose I started to understand everything as I saw it all in the spiritual realm. That man and his family members especially his mother was working witchcraft on me. Because I was a genuine born again Christian they couldn’t kill me, hence he kept telling me I was fighting him. God gave me the victory over them and I saw it all in the spiritual realm (dreams, visions). Those cowards went running, flying and spinning on there backs. It all played out during a divorce and when I decided I had enough of the weird stuff and feelings. God will grant you victory only when you decide to let go. I was so blinded but I always felt something was off but couldn’t understand. He left , went to another country and FedEx me divorce papers before I even understood what was going on. I was devastated, broken and plagued with suicidal thoughts. He left me high and dry and without even a proper reason. I signed the papers. When I began to understand he was trying to manipulate me, he is a narcissist and he and his family are into witchcraft. God prospered my life after he left. I am a happy single parent and I am at peace. God delivered me from so many things. So many demonic attacks. I almost lost my mind and my life all because I allow a so called Pastor to coerce me into marriage. Listen to God not Man I learned a very harsh lesson. You don’t need a Man to be happy and to prosper. All you need is Jesus Christ. He will sustain and add all you need. Sex is not a need. It should be for marriage ordained by God. With God you will grow from strength to strength. You can be a very happy single parent.

When you see women who leave abusive marriage you will be judging them. From the very first shouting and slapping, I knew she should leave. I don't think there is anything wrong for a woman leaving a marriage that wants to take her life.
We should not be quick to judge divorced couples. But I have realized that God will always warn His children before they get into wrong marriages, but oftentimes we ignore the warnings from God, just because of the desires of our hearts.

Sadly most women this is true for except the husband doesn’t put his hands on her. She doesn’t have any marks, just trauma. Imagine how mean and demanding he is during sex. Imagine how difficult it is for women living this way, it affects a woman’s ability to be fully aroused so most times it’s painful, traumatizing and heartbreaking. So many women live this way. 😢 Exactly what happened to me 😢 this is terrible. I went down to zero in my christian life. The man appeared like an angel and everyone saw me as a bad woman. I left the marriage and I don't care what the church will say bc I can't choose marriage over my assignment 😢 even my pastors who are supposed to stand for me all turned their back and believe the strange man they asked me to marry.
You can leave if it blocks your christian life. Find a partner who will support you and serve God. Don't look at some pastors. You know how your life is going through.

Hi Winnie, more often than not, the women in abusive marriages cause their misfortune. Don't stop reading,🙂 please see what I have to say first. Most women especially in this generation expect men to carry out their God given duty to love them, but they will not give heed to the command to honour their husbands, even though both commands are given in the same verse of scriptures. Some women even go into marriage saying things like "No man will tell me what to do, and not to do..." and such other things as they love to say. I am a woman, and I do not support abusive men, however we must tell ourselves the truth that most women are very heady, and stubborn, and very disrespectful. A man ability to hurt is in his arms, and a woman's in her mouth, when she drives him up a wall, he will retort by talking back, he uses his arms. This does not mean he suffered less harm, we all know too well what psychological damage words can cause. Women are heard more because they talk more, and talk loudest. While praying for a good husband, let us also pray for God to help us women to be submissive, and to learn to control our words, and our emotions. May God help us.

The Bible says that the man is to love his wife as christ loves the church. No man who loves his wife will lay hand on her. Before you marry if you see the warning signs don't let love to blind your eyes. If a man is abusive before marriage he will be abusive after marriage.

I feel the signs are always there during courtship,it's just that many women don't pay close attention. I recently ended a relationship with a so called church brother when I noticed some bad character traits in him.e.g he was stingy to me and always looked lustfully at other women whenever he thought I wasn't paying attention.

Had a baby within 6 months and it was all pretty much downhill from there, i was trapped and didn't know were to go... got married and had 2 more kids....I was abused verbally, mentally and physically...Now we're separated and it has been pretty rough still ofter that... between custody battles and everything else... Great video but the topic of marriage and divorce should really be discussed in Christian community. The shame behind divorce is causing a lot of women to loose their lives look at Osinachi. Omg this is so real. As I kept watching I remembered the famous gospel musician osinach who was going through this and the husband was a very dedicated church member😥 please. The bible says the children of the kingdom of darkness are wiser than those of the light. Please please children of God seek Him while He can be found. Don't do anything without seeking His face.
My ex said that I was controlling and manipulative. She divorced me after 25 years and started drinking and going out with the girls. She hooked up with a past boyfriend and of course started fornicating. Well, she asked if I would take her back, but she is not converted. If I did, we would end up divorced again. I had to let her go. Hardest thing ever but I knew it was the will of God. I don't write this to bash her. It's to let everyone know that our iniquity(sinful motives) will always be exposed. She left her protection and went back to the world. Now she's alone and suffering mentally. She threw away 3 children and 25 years of marriage for the pleasures of sin for a season. I still can't believe she did it, but it also shows me how strong the pull of sin is in our lives. Only Christ will last! God bless✌🏾

Even the preacher sounds as if he is believing the man doing wicked things before God with regards to beating, degrading, devalue the wife; the man should be reported to the police while doing scriptures and prayers. Quoting scriptures alone while the man is damaging the wife physically is not good at all. Police, arresting of this man, will make the man to think twice before beating up wife
For some reason, I thought her mom would intervene in prayer and persuade her not to proceed with the marriage before consulting spiritually, or I thought she'd say no on her wedding day. She had diligently dedicated her life to God I never thought she'd end up in this dire situation. I had wished her the best honestly. 😔
This situation happened in the life of my church member's daughter. The young lady brought a man home who claimed to be God fearing and all that although he wasn't from our denomination. Long story short, the mum was against the marriage and strongly fought against it but her daughter and the guy bought over their kinsmen and got married (her dad is late). The marriage was torture, the guy swore she would die in the marriage, on different occasions she almost did but her mum was standing for her strongly. The so called husband even threatened the girls mum. It took a whole lot of prayers(the guy did ban the girl and her mum from ever praying in his house). The mum even tried meeting with the kinsmen to aid annul the marriage but the girl's husband threatened them as well. God did intervene- the husband died a shameful death, he fell to his death at work just two days after celebrating his birthday.

We had 2.5 years of engagement, we prayed he showed himself worthy I met him in our mission he was very attentive and believing. As soon as the honeymoon was over I got sick with severe IBS and he left to play football all week and expected me to go sit on bleachers or a chair outside to watch him. I would have if I wasn’t feeling so sick all week and I had no interest in sitting for so long. He wasn’t that obnoxious slapping me, it was a slow covert disrespect.

Thank you vivian, this happened to me with my wife God audibly told me not to get married but the pastor was not in good stands with God and we had lots of problems. God dealt with him now and changed his heart. I never told this to other pastors sice they were the kings of judgement but my fiends stood behind me and my pastor friends back home did it too.
