Thank you for giving me and my son the confidence to try this ourselves! We found that it isn't technically necessary to remove the IO circuit board (the little DC jack ribbon cable is stiff enough to support the little green circuit board during soldering).
Thank you so much for this video!!! I have a piaggero n-12 that has a loose power connector, and I don't want to pay $100 (or more!) for someone to repair something I could fix myself for less than half the price, and we get a soldering gun out of it 🤷♀️

Stumbled across this video...I Love my P-105, I hope this repair won't be needed anytime soon or ever, it made me cringe a little seeing it taken apart..but at least it was a happy, inexpensive ending..BTW way the "b" in P105_B stands for the color black (my model) W would be for white. good video

Would you happen to know if this would fit a Yamaha EZ 300? I need to replace my daughter's, and when I take it out to look at it I don't see a part number or anything like 502 AG like what should be embossed to your part. But they look identical
I have an Artesia AGBaby Grande piano and live in Australia. For months now it intermittently runs off and turns on again. I can now only play the piano for about 30 seconds. The piano is only 3 years old and was very expensive. I’m having trouble getting anyone to even look at it. Do you know if an Artesia power source can be replaced with a Yamaha power source?
The power connecter has just died on my yamaha djx it kept cutting out now I can't get it on full stop think the cable had been rubbing of the back of the stand
Hi.. My P105 isn't switching on. I live in Mumbai, India - and it gets very Humid during the monsoon season. A few weeks ago, I noticed that my Piano was making an extra note sound at times. After I read up a bit, I figured it was due to moisture internally. Keeping it on for a little time, would generally rectify the problem. This happened for a couple of weeks. But few days back, it would turn on but the keyboard won't make any sound - but just a tapping noise when pressed any key. So I kept it on and would keep on pressing the key every 10 mins - so it won't go on auto shut off.. But eventually nothing happened and it auto shut off - Now it won't start at all. Do you think it could be this problem? Or you think this is something else and I should take it to a service centre instead? Thank you !
Do you happen to know the wiring diagram of the mini pcb portion from dc jack to the 4 pins connected to the dc power? I managed to loose the mini pcb part connected to the ribbon cable and need to rewire it with a custom pcb since they do not sell the part anywhere.
Hello! I got a Yamaha p115. It's almost the same model. But I recorded something in it and then I turned the keyboard off. Right after that, my keyboard didn't want to work anymore. The red light which indicates power on is not turned even after pushing the button. Can you please explain me why it doesn't and what can I do to fix it? I live in Madagascar and it's quite hard to find a professional technician to repair it. Thanks in advance.
