- You’ve been asking for a cottage tour…I hope you enjoy seeing our almost 100 year old home. We’ll need to make some changes when Moosie comes home from Rehabilitation…but I think we’ll manage fine. I have some Moosie Updates, too. Thank you , my friends, once again for your continued prayers and well wishes. ❤️

What a wonderful episode!!! It was lovely to be 'invited' inside. I could spend all day there nosing around all the beautiful things that you have either collected or created. What a wonderful place.Treasures everywhere. I can only imagine having tea out on your patio with you and Moose in the morning, listening to the birds. What a beautiful way to live. Thank you, Nanny for allowing us to enjoy your cozy, charming, hideaway gem. Its been an incredible pleasure to have toured your unique adobe cottage with you.
What a beautiful space Nanny! How adorable is Shamu purring away by you…..so sweet! She knows you need extra loving too, while Moose is away.

I have a lot of keepsakes also, so I take half of them and store them in a box and switch stuff over every few months.

I love your little cottage! I am a maximalist also. It brings me joy to surround myself with pictures and chotzches I love. I feel like I am in a cocoon of memories. I would be right at home in your little adobe! Moosie is making progress. As the old saying goes, "Slow and steady wins the race". Tell him we are all rooting for him. Love to you both! ❤❤

The cottage looks beautiful! Your bedroom is bigger than I thought. It seemed so cozy in past videos that I wondered how it would work for wheelchairs and rollators, but if you empty it out a little bit, it should be fine. I wonder if you could put the dressing table in the closet/ room, by the window somewhere. Then you could possibly still use it, as is so pretty. Anyway, so many beautiful things , tchotchkes, antiques, art work. It really is quite organized I think. Maybe because you seem to work on it as the months go by. Freshening things up and decorating. I love it. Inspires me to do something like this at my house. Mine is not an Adobe cottage, but more of a Midwest Cape Cod style. It could use a little more froofing up lately. I kind of let things slide during COVID, no one stopping by, etc. I was thinking maybe you could use a little soft scrub with bleach, or bar keepers, or even whitening toothpaste on your fireplace bricks. Or maybe baking soda and white vinegar with a squirt of Dawn in it. Could try on a small area first. I have to say that Moose is looking good and seems to be doing well with his recovery. That's a good sign that he likes to sit up in the chair I think. Sometimes people want to get in the bed and stay there, but not Moose. I am curious about the air conditioner in the bedroom. Looks like a good one. You look great Nanny. Blue is a great color on you with your blue eyes. Fun to see Shamu photo bombing the video. She/he is a wonderful cat. Take care and have a great weekend. Lovely tour..I was thinking can't you rearrange your closet and fit the art Deco dresser in there...shame to put it in storage...forgot to mention in your last video if you switch the electricity off to the washing machine the lid should open! We need another tour once you make all the changes! Goodluck with it all!

Beautiful cottage much larger than I imagined. Love you collection of antiques and dodads. I also live in a small cottage which I love. Its very cozy, As my aunt once said about being in her long time house "it's like being in my mothers woumb."

Morning nanny,it’s 8 am in England😂 What a beautiful home you both have ,a credit to you ,Ilove it,my mum’s house was made in 1875 a big end terrace.hers is full of treasures like yours ,lots of beautiful old teapots and cat ornimants she loves. Ask your doctor for a handicapped parking permit. It’s a lifesaver. I’m 82 with bad knees and it was so easy to obtain and I’m so grateful to have it.
Roll the rollater around yourself and it will help you decide before he gets home

You mentioned that you would be purging a bit more in that closet, so I thought that it might be a way for you to continue to utilize it. 😊❤🙏

Put your dressing table in the closet. It’s too beautiful for the shed! You can still use it in the closet.
Hi Nanny would it be possible to clear some cloths from your closest that you don't wear often and pack those away in the shed that would leave room for your beautiful dresser and you could leave all your precious things in it hope this thought is useful love to you and Moose praying for you all. What a lovely warm & welcoming home!
Would it be possible to move the dressing table into the closet room? I have seen that done in small Apts. I assume, since it was a small bedroom, there are electric outlets for the lovely lamps to remain in use, too.

It’s me again…I’m thinking of how to clean your bricks. Try mixing equal parts of vinegar and water and let it stay on the bricks for a few minutes. Then clean with a cloth or nylon scrub brush. You might need to rinse afterwards. Hope this helps! Love you and Moosie!

put your vanity in that closet room . You probably use it everyday to put on your makeup and your jewelry.. Maybe have the grandkids help you re-arrange the items in that closet room and with the window there will be plenty of light. I love your adorable cottage. You don't want to have to put that lovely vanity in the garage.
When my dad was in hospital, we got him to eat by "sneaking" food in that he liked. The nurses knew it was approved and nothing against the doctors orders, but because my dad was so stubborn he ate that food up because he thought he was getting away with something and pulling a fast one on the nurses!!!! Maybe you could do that for Moosie?

Wow Nanny. Your cottage is so cute. I don't recall the piano before. Do you play? I'm so glad to know Moosie is getting stronger. That dinner plate looked lovely. Up here in Canada we get gruel or a white bread sandwich with a streak of color between them. We call it a jam sandwich, 2 pieces of bread jammed together. LOL I hope you are sleeping and your mind is a peace that passes all understanding. You are both in my prayers. Blessings

I remember when you got your vanity table. You were so excited and elated to have it. So, I'm going to say this, and Please don't think I'm getting in your business 😊 ... But it sounds like everything you are having to purge are your things - many of which are dear to you. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand your situation
My husband and I are one fall away from possibly facing the same life changing decisions. Is there no way you can try to rearranging some things in order to save the presence of your vanity table? I know how much these things mean to you. But also realize how much your Moosie means to you.❤❤❤

What a lovely home! I’m like you, I love to have my family pictures close by. Can your sons come in and move some things for you? I think someone with a fresh perspective could give you some ideas for rearranging furniture. The bureau Moosie’s clothes are in looks like a trip hazard in the middle of the night for either of you. And Nanny, you need to take care of yourself! Have the kids and grandkids do the heavy work for you. You need to save your energy for being with Moosie. We all love you too!
