I'll give some background behind each of the replays. The True King duel was an old one. This was back when Card of Demise and Pot of Duality were unlimited, so the deck was far stronger than it is nowadays. I kept the replay because I thought it was funny. "Oh, you'll negate my effects and maxx 'c' me? Fine. I'll just summon a bunch of big guys and attack you." Underworld Goddess makes a showing, because the synchro's and XYZ monsters weren't allowed during the festival. It isn't too much of an issue, since Vendreads are a link deck in disguise. There was a fourth replay I considered submitting that was a duelist cup match vs. pre-banlist Purrely, but it was quite boring. I summoned Apollusa + boosted slayer, set reorigin, and then disrupted every play they made. Without event limitations, the opening board is the same as everyone elses: Fleur, Apollusa, searchable traps, etc. The reason why I called the Dinomorphia Duel a white-knuckle ride is because, for that duel, I didn't open well at all. That opening hand was about as bad as it could get without outright bricking. I drew both Scars, which I run 2 of to ensure one stays in the deck for Evolution. Off of Sucker's draw I top-decked the one copy of Revenants that I was about to summon from the deck anyway. I couldn't get to Origin for protection or proper ritual spamming, and I was forced to normal houndhorde just to make link plays. I was running destruction cards instead of reorigin, which is my normal out for Rexterm. I was basically improvising throughout that entire duel, and I had no recourse against a third Rexterm. The whole time, I was one wrong move away from utter defeat. Now for the much requested decklist. There's two ways that I play it, and that is whether I'm paying the Maxx "C" tax or not. Without the tax, it looks like this: Monsters: x1 Vendread Core x1 Vendread Anima x1 Vendread Houndhorde x1 Vendread Revenants x1 Vendread Striges x2 Scar of the Vendread x3 Shiranui Solitaire x1 Uni-Zombie x2 Psy-Frame Gear Gamma x1 Psy-Frame Driver x1 Alghoul Mazera x2 Revendread Slayer x1 Vendread Battlelord x1 Vendread Scavenger x1 Revendread Executor Spells: x2 Revendread Origin x3 Revendread Evolution x2 Ravenous Vendread x3 Pre-Preparation of Rites x3 Preparation of Rites x1 Vendread Nights x2 Vendread Charge x1 Foolish Burial x2 Called by the Grave Traps: x1 Vendread Reorigin Extra: x1 Psy-Framelord Omega (honorary zombie) x1 Skeletal Dragon Felgrand x1 Baronne de Fleur x1 Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon Lord x1 Dhampir Vampire Sheridan x1 Vampire Sucker x3 Avendread Savior x1 I:P Masquerna x1 S:P Little Knight x1 Dyna Mondo x1 Vampire Fascinator x1 Apollusa, Bow of the Goddess x1 Underworld Goddess of the Closed World To pay the Maxx "C" tax, I usually take out the preps for x3 Maxx "C" and the Charges for x3 Ash Blossom, running at 41. It kills a lot of the consistency and flexibility for the deck doing this, but that's the Maxx "C" tax for you. Fun bit of trivia, but Ash Blossom is a zombie that can be banished from the grave for ritual summons. During the Link/Fusion Event I took out Psy-frames and Called-By, instead adding more toolbox. For the Dinomorphia Duel I had x3 Dark Hole, x1 Raigeki, x1 Harpy's Feather Duster, but normally I just have more Reorigins, another Uni-zombie, and more Charges. Before anyone asks, I would like to confirm that I am, indeed, listening to the album Immortalized by Disturbed on repeat as I play the deck.
Don’t mind me just boosting engagement on this one so we can all make it happen fam ✊🏾 Vendread is the most fun Ive actually had playing ygo in a while and the potential to actually hang with the big boys is highly underrated
I love the editing on this one, putting either one of the Vendread cards over the Ritual activating an effect depending on which one gave it the influence. Awesome job to whoever edited this vid (I'm guessing it was Timaeus).
I love to see Vendread clapping! Back in the day, they went crazy on Duel Links because they got a free Ritual Cage which gave them targeting protection from monsters. They can still do well but they can get more support there!
honestly rituals AND zombies sounds like it has everything it needs to be utterly cracked (as long as they don't require to be ritual summoned) Hell you could probably unironically throw in a zombie world package for balederoch tech or some madlad could try to make a vampire hybrid vendread deck.
I didn't know truedraco and dinomorphia were members of the big boy league. I would like to see matches against snake-eyes, branded etc,. The actual good decks.
Vendreads are such a cool, but underappreciated archetype. Its legitimately one of the most fun Ritual decks I've ever played and I wish Konami would give them more good support.
Dang-- I loved playing Vendread it was my favorite deck for awhile but now I'm thinking that maybe I should try submitting some of my clips of War Rocks ripping through meta decks. *Fun Fact* my War Rock deck was undefeated against Sprights during their era of dominance lol
I just wanna start by saying that I personally love vendreads and play them myself. With that being said however, these replays are unfortunately very misleading. To any and all people interested in playing this deck just know that vendreads are BAD like very very very bad. If you dont believe me just take a look at these replays. His first 2 opponents did exactly nothing. He didnt have to play through anything. He might as well have gone first but with an extra card. If you're a new player please don't let this trick you into thinking this deck is actually playable when it isn't.
You may be thinking of something else? Vendread Core only grants targeting protection to the Ritual Monster, but when it revives itself, it banishes itself when it leaves the field.
God I love vendread I just don't think it can pull out that much of an endboard still though with that being said 100% recommend playing the deck tons of fun!
I like how the "big boys" are true draco, scareclaw and dinomorphia lol. Also going second both games 1 and 2 and not getting interrupted once is interesting, then proceeding to go first against the trap deck game 3 isn't super convincing. Give anyone a fun deck and a week and they could pump out 3 replays that make the deck look solid. I'm all for innovating interesting decks and underdog strategies, but these are just cherry picked replays and not very impressive ones at that, no innovation.
I'll give some background behind each of the replays.

How do you use chavelier if you dont have a fluer synchron or am i missing something
@@evanrivas880 He may have meant Baronne. He can make it with Uni-Zombie + 1 level + Revendread Slayer.

MUST HAVE!

Love the Vendread representation. 🔥
They can really be formidable when used properly.
Loved the detail of 6:00 on activation showing which influence was being activated, had to see it a few times

Thank you! 😀 I was hoping someone would notice that!
Yeah, really nice touch. I wish the game did a better job of representing which influence is being used

The vendread player definitely cooked. Really wish Vendread would get some support in the future

"White Woman Jumpscare" did wonders in those duels.
This guy was a monster lol. Probably the best vendread pilot I’ve seen
Ngl that Dinomorphia player misplayed so hard twice, and frenzy is opponents main phase only on the activation
This is a reminder that Ritual Monsters were MEANT to be THE Boss Monsters of Yugioh.
Yeah we're gonna need a list for this! That was sick
Vendreads are so underrated
“Al Ghoul ALWAYS comes in clutch!” 😂😂
Best card, you can even combo with gozuki or changshi to banish and summon it
That was a smart duelist and good deck pilot like he should of lost but new what he needed to do before
I’ve been running a zombie deck with a bit of vendreads splashed in for the longest time, one of my favorite decks

Have you covered fackname playing ancient warriors, he has several impressive videos against a lot of different decks.
Untargettable board with executor and 3 influences and protection is the best feeling ever on a vendread field
More master duel vids man we need the commentary and content
traptricks doesn't matter you can ONLY activate frenzy during your opponents main phase
Decklist?
Frenzy can only be activated in the enemy's main phase.
Underworld goddess best vendred monster
Thanks for the video big boys
Can we have a decklist or something to try to roproduce this hell of a deck
I highly respect players who don't use trash meta that takes 40 years for one move

Im a big fan of vendread mayakashi, Not mega consistent but has huge combo Potential :D

Executor with core as a material can’t be targeted and protects the entire board it’s hard to do but it’s broken
