- This video goes through Unit 4 topic 1.2 on 'Describe the organisation of the criminal justice system in England and Wales'. Please feel free to comment underneath if you have any questions or thoughts on the different questions I ask :)
Please note that Police do NOT act as prisoner escort between prison and court nor do they have custody of the suspects in between. This is done by external companies such as Serco or GEOAmey.

Hi Katey, I'm so pleased my videos are helping. I am currently preparing a ppt to help with exam board announcements for 2022 exam too so keep an eye out for that :)
@@IThinkThereforeITeach thank you I can't wait! I have a question about the spec in this section one of the bullet points is formal punishments does this come under the roles of the organisations of cjs or is it a different section, the textbooks aren't much help. People have found a past paper question where it asks to wrote about the relationship between the courts and agencies of formal punishment???
Would that be referring to the relationship between the courts probation and prison service????
Great question Katey, yes the text books are rather unclear when compared to the specification. My interpretation is that formal punishments link to prison and probation service. Hope this helps :)
@@IThinkThereforeITeach thank you I thought so!! So when formal punishments come up in questions ots talking about probation and prison service together?
I wish you were my teacher ! 😭
She is such a great teacher wish i discovered her earlier not just a week and a half before my exam😂

Thank you, I'm pleased my videos help :)
Hi there. What are the formal punishments? Would it just be sentences, fines, bans etc?
Formal punishment as in AC 1.2 is prison and probation :)
Hey do you have all the model answer for criminal justice system?
Do you mean the ones from the PowerPoint? You might find some in the textbooks too :)
Hi there, what excatrly is the role of courts?. Do we just mention magistrates and crown courts?
That would work well, Judiciary/jury/magistrates and how they have a relationship with other agencies. Don't forget it links nicely to 3.1 too :)
Hello miss just a quick question, how does plagiarism work in this unit?
Plagiarism isn't really an issue with unit 2 or 4 as it is based on revision and memory and adapting your answers to the exam questions. It is only an issue in unit 1 and 3 because you can take notes in with you that you then copy down. Hope this helps :)
@@IThinkThereforeITeach thank you very much for creating videos for this unit. They are helping me a lot for preparing for my exam in June.
@@3Hushpuppi you are very welcome! I am pleased they are helping ☺️
