What an excellent exposition of the zoo and so very many exhibits. So many improvements from my last visit nearly 20 years ago when the tickets were purchased from a little kiosk. I understand that the ticket price must respect the needs of the zoo, food, maintenance and payroll etcetera. It seems to me that perhaps during the school holidays one day a week there could be half price adult with free entry for children so that more of the population can enjoy and learn. We have the tragic situation in today's Britain where one in four children live well below the poverty line. Many decades ago I was a member of the Zoological Society and often enjoyed going to Regent's Park Z Gardens. People at most classes could observe and learn. The exhibits were still fed and costs were met. The school referred to in the film is lucky to have resources to have this extra curricular activity. Many youngsters who grow up to be teachers, biologists and conservationists have childhood visits to zoos to remember. Thank you so much for your excellent coverage and we are both amazed at the lovely white peacock! Astounding! :-)
